I was very hesitant having face lift plastic surgery. My friend recommended me Dr. Bass as very professional, talented and caring doctor. I went to Dr. Bass for my free consultation and from the initial contact with his front desk staff, I felt comfortable and welcomed. Dr Bass and his entire staff (Cathy Moskowitz - scrub/recovery nurse, Dr. Bruno -anesthesiologist, Alex - medical assistant) exceeded all my expectations. The surgery and recovery process were so much easier than I expected. I even did not take any painkiller medications. Dr. Bass truly performed a miracle and took at least 20 years off my face!!! I m so happy with my result and cannot recommended Dr. Bass enough.
Dr. Bass performed my rhinoplasty along with a medically indicated septoplasty. I'm happy with the results, in terms of both look and function (i.e. snoring is cured, breathing noticeably improved). Male rhinoplasty is a difficult procedure to get right; my understanding is that it has a lower patient satisfaction rate than most cosmetic procedures. Thus, it is especially important to find the right surgeon with the knowledge, skill and experience, who can discuss expectations in a clear and honest manner. I fully recommend Dr. Bass. Dr. Bass is very patient and caring, especially for a surgeon of his renown. Pre-operative consultation was very thorough and he was generous with his time. Recovery from any nasal surgery is unpleasant and good post-operative care is important; again, I'm pleased with his & his staff's empathy and responsiveness. Finally, I'm grateful that Dr. Bass was able to accommodate my schedule and coordinate with her colleague Dr. Franziska Huettner (another outstanding surgeon), so I could have multiple procedures with the downtime of one.

I’m 51 yrs old and feel fabulous in my skin Updated on 14 Jul 2021: 2 1/2 years after s tummy tuck with muscle tightening . Im left with an uneven stomach and FUPA . I even mentioned before my surgery to pull It tighter . Because my friend warned me of this . And here I am stuck with a FUPA .Im sorry but a plastic surgeon should know to pull the FUPA a little tighter during surgery So I’m not left with a ( Fat Upper Pubic Area ) a good Doctor would warn a patient that this could possibly happen or correct the problem during surgery . But a greedy Doctor would not tell you it’s not part of a tummy tuck to only charge you for another procedure . So now I have to go to another plastic surgeon to correct the problem. Beware of Greedy surgeons
when i was a younger lad, i was involved in a ghastly vehicular accident that led to life threatening injuries upon myself, along with an unfortunate fatality to the soul of another passenger, which casted an unfortunate lumbering energy that will forever encompass that distant night. after surviving the ordeal, i required a vast amount of plastic surgery to ameliorate all the wounds, especially since the crux of scarring and disfigurements rested upon my face. after around a dozen corrective surgeries to all aspects of the facial profile, my lower lip remained a cogent issue. my family did what any caring, compassionate people would for their child and sought out the best surgeon in the field at the top hospital. at the time, i was living in new york so there was a tacit notion that good help was an arms length away. after choosing one of the most renowned surgeons in new york city, who only worked on mouths (mainly cleft palates), there was a comforting energy that enveloped the situation. everything was going to be "ok." before this operation was done, my lower lip was roughly twice the size of its upper sibling and on top of that, the lower lip sloped at around a 10 degree angle from right to left. it is like after you hang a picture on the wall and after around a couple of months, its tilted. to myself, it felt like i was looking at an image of picasso's guernica, but that is the paradigmatic, psychological makeup of a teenager. after going through with the surgery, there was a very minute improvement in the appearance of my lip. the surgeon defended his actions and basically said there was nothing more he could do surgically at the time. there was an obvious feeling of dejection all the way around that covered every base. after over a decade of living with the result, i had garnered enough money and wanted a second chance at aesthetic improvements to the area that had been a focal point. a family member knew of my eagerness to procure an exceptionally competent surgeon and tossed me the information of Dr. Bass and regarded him as exceptionally knowledgeable and gifted in his craft. on a whim, i called up and did the consultation and after meeting him, spun the roulette wheel of fortune. the ball landing on red meant i was gonna visualize an improvement and satisfaction to the best of the parameters of the situation, or black, which is at this point self explanatory. what made me take the leap with Dr. Bass was his persona. very attentive listener, soft spoken, and immensely intelligent with a great insight into the profession. he exuded an ardent spirit that many professionals, no matter what their vocation, just do not carry. it was genuinely refreshing. he is the kind of person you wanna hang around with for a few and just pick around at his mind for a much needed learning lesson. after the operation which consisted of a surgical operation, followed months later by laser work, i can say that my expectations were met and then some. he has a very precise hand and eye. my lip lies completely straight from left to right with much improved symmetry, shrinking the size to where the upper lip and lower lip are comparable in size and fullness. the laser work done afterwards was to reduce scarring and redness which lingered from years passed. i do not revere many people in life, but i am exalted by what he did for my appearance. some people have gifts or are extremely proficient in what they do...he is that person. thanks and blessings to him and his entire staff. A
I am always so happy to return to Dr. Bass' office. Not only is the staff so welcoming and helpful, but Dr. Bass' work is perfection! I totally recommend you visit him for fillers (that's what I got)!
I needed to have some fat removed from my back so why not put it to good use. Dr. Bass did a fat transfer to my breasts and they look amazing. The procedure was fast and not really painful at all.I am so happy that I chose to go ahead with my Breast Fat Grafting procedure with Dr. Lawrence Bass. After nursing my 3 children my breast were lopsided and needed a boost. I love my breasts and now I have confidence. My bras and my clothes fit perfect! All my friends now want my breasts. The first day of the Tummy Tuck was very uncomfortable, but I followed Dr. Bass's instructions and I was up and walking in about 2 days without assistance. Much better within 7 days on my own (walking a lot helps and speeds up recovery, I also used holistic tablets to help with soreness and bruising). Wish I would have done the Tummy tuck much sooner and it's worth every penny. Within 6 to 8 weeks the compliments starting pouring in and they have not stopped! Clothes look amazing on me, I can wear almost anything and not worry about the ugly pouch of a stomach! So if you have been considering a Tummy Tuck in New York, do your self a favor go see him! You won't regret it one bit!! Updated on 12 Jul 2013: Dr. Bass really is an exceptional Plastic Surgeon. Since my tummy tuck, I have continued my normal work out routines. My stomach looks amazing.. Doctor Bass was really great. My face still looks very natural, the fillers just peeled away the tired eyes, and made me a few years younger. Doctor Bass very adeptly used Radiesse to give me a facelift, then used Belotero to fill in my undereye region and plump my lips. Compared with a previous time I had had fillers, the procedure was virtually painless (although the lips are always very sensitive and therefore a little painful).

If there is facial laxity it is reasonable to do a minilift in the 40's. Non-surgical treatments like Ulthera or Thermage provide some improvement but much less and only for a couple of years or so. A minilift procedure will provide much greater correction and hold that correction for typically about 10 years or sometimes quite a bit more. If you are significantly bothered by the laxity that shows in the photos you sent, then you should seriously consider minifacialplasty.
There are various incision options for facelift and necklift procedures. Generally there is some kind of incision in front of the ear or right at the edge of the ear. The incision can extend into the crease behind the ear and from there back along or into the hairline. Endoscopic lifts have much smaller incisions but greatly limit the amount of rejuvenation and re-positioning that can be obtained. Typically a facelift or necklift with moderate skin excess can be what is called a "short scar facelift". The incision goes in front and just around the earlobe without an extension fully up behind the ear or into the hairline behind the ear. The more vertical orientation of deep tissue correction in modern lifts has facilitated the ability to obtain excellent correction in the neck with the more limited incision.
Neck creases are a difficult problem that cannot typically be completely solved but can certainly be significantly improved. These are NOT features that are typically improved by a necklift or facelift. Laser resurfacing helps but neck skin is too fragile to resurface strongly so lasers like Fraxel ReStore are used which are gentler. The superficial transducer from Ultherapy treatments can also help with these lines. Filler can help but superficial lines are difficult to chase with filler so this is not really a good option.
Typically in blepharoplasty, we are trying to alter aging changes and restore a youthful appearance to the area around the eyelids. Other procedures can be performed which will help change eyelid shape. Different ethnic groups have typical patterns to eyelid shape. If you desire to increase your appearance match with part of your ethnic background, including the tilt of the outer corner of the eyelids and the shape of the outer corner, there are procedures which can help. You wisely recognized that some features of eye shape and position can not easily be changed, like the distance between the eyes.
Bulging after blepharoplasty and wrinkling at the corners of the eye is a natural response to the forces buckling the skin which is not as elastic as in youth. Bulging just under the eyelashes across the lower lid is often the result of a bulky eyelid muscle. In the old days of open blepharoplasty through an incision in the lower eyelid skin, the muscle was sometimes trimmed down to minimize this. Transconjunctival blepharoplasty avoids the outside incision and scar but does not allow this to be done. The good news is that small amounts of Botox in the corners of the eye AND very small amounts across the lid just under the lash line can reduce the amount of bulging. Lots of things change in the eyelids during aging and blepharoplasty only corrects some of them. Non-surgical fixes can address many of the other changes. Belpharoplasty remains the only option for extra skin in the upper lids and bulging fat pads in the lower lids.
