Dr. Bourbreaux got my rosasia under control for the first time ever and my skin looks great. She is so nice and professional It is really nice to have someone that works so hard to alway make your expereince a possitive one.
My first visit to Silver Falls Dermatology was a pleasant surprise. In the past other doctors have kept me waiting and then ushered me out the door with half my questions addresses. I was so grateful to have Dr. Boudreaux’s full attention and time. She addressed every skin issue I had been worried about and took the time to treat them in office. Dr. Boudreaux is a real find.
Dr. Boudreaux is a miracle worker. I began seeing her two years ago to help with my hormonal acne and my skin has never been clearer! Recently I saw her for lip injections. She did a wonderful job and I love the results. She took the time to make sure I understood the process and what to expect and I received a follow-up call as well to make sure everything was going well. She is a very thorough, kind, and understanding doctor!
Dr. Boudreaux is the best of the best! I started seeing her years ago when she was finishing her medical school training & I will forever follow her to any clinic she moves to. I have seen her for skin concerns including a rash, scars, skin cancer screening, and mole removal. I have also seen her for beautifying injectables including Kybella (goodbye genetic double chin!) & three different lip fillers over the years. Each treatment has turned out perfectly! Dr. Boudreaux is conservative in her approach & realistic & honest in her explanation of expected results & aftercare. When I consulted with her about getting Botox, instead of pushing me to get the treatment, she was honest in her feedback that I really don’t need it (yet). I really appreciated that honesty & I completely trust her opinion. But you better believe that when I do need Botox that she’ll be my first stop! I’m an Esthetician who gets lot of skincare questions; I confidently refer all of my clients & friends to Dr. Boudreaux for dermatology care & injectables. It’s no surprise that they all rave about their results & I’ve seen first hand how amazing they look after. I would like to add that my most recent appointment was during the COVID19 pandemic & I felt completely safe. Dr. Boudreaux & her staff fully explained their new safety protocols prior to my arrival & they vetted me thoroughly before I was able to enter the office. I have been visiting Dr. Boudreaux for filler and Botox/Dysport for 3 years. I naturally have fairly thin lips and strong frown lines. Dr. Boudreaux is amazing! I just had filler placed in my cheek area. It was not overdone and it looks natural. It made a significant difference on lifting my nasal labial folds. It has also helped with my eye are to not look so puffy. I definitely look refreshed and younger! I’m an esthetician and I’m very particular on Dermatology recommendations for my clients. I've been getting advice from Dr. Boudreaux for three years. She has helped set up an anti-aging regimen for my skin and lifestyle. Dr. Lauren Boudreaux is the only dermatologist to go to. She is knowledgeable on new products and innovations in the skin care industry. After a few not so pleasant derm experiences, I was searching for a more personalized regimen. Dr. Boudreaux takes the time to listen to my concerns and makes sure I know the reason behind what she's suggesting. I must also mention her bedside manner is calming and informative.
I have been into see Dr. Boudreaux on a regular basis. Most recently I had my lip filler done. I had a great experience here from beginning to end Dr. Boudreaux understood my needs, listened and made recommendations. The results were 100% what I was looking for. The procedure was quick and painless. Post injectable procedure. Dr. Boudreaux customized and walked me through a new skin care routine that I was in desperate need of. I see her all the time for my normal dermatology needs, but I recently had an appointment with Dr. Boudreaux to address frown lines in my forehead and insecurities with a smaller upper lip. She recommended that we use Botox for my frown lines and Restylane to make my upper lip larger. I cannot be more happier with the results! It looks so natural and I have noticed that I feel less tense. I highly recommend Dr. B!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Boudreaux for two years and I only have great things to say! She takes the time to listen to my beauty concerns and helps guide my decisions. I’ve had multiple chemical peels, Botox, Juvederm, and most recently, microneedling all with better than expected results. I definitely trust that Dr. Boudreaux will keep my skin looking young and fresh forever.
First of all, I doubt IPL caused this unless you had burns. Often times (myself included!) we begin to notice things as we correct/address other problems. My point is, don't be scared of lasers but be sure to see someone who knows what they are doing! I would start with microneedling and/or chemical peels, combined with medical-grade products to exfoliate and even out the texture of this skin. I get very nice results with this combo!
Chemical peels, microneedling, and excellent at home products definitely help with this. My favorite is to do a combination of light chemical peels with SkinBetter Science AlphaRet.
While I cannot offer medical advice without seeing you, I suspect this could easily be treated by any board-certified dermatologist. You should book an appt to discuss with someone near you. Treatment is affordable and safe!
I love that you are doing great skin care and neurotoxins (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) are probably the most important preventative care at your age. That being said, I love microneedling and peels. They both are fantastic for prevention and collagen stimulation. I would start with peels, as they have less downtime (typically) and tend to be more affordable.
You really should go see a dermatologist. While I cannot give you medical advice without seeing you, I can tell you that you have a difficult skin type (which I am sure you know!). When patients have a lot of redness and small breakouts, we are often seeing early signs of rosacea. A combination of prescription topicals with laser treatments would work wonders for you.
