I loved Dr. O. and the staff at Radiant Reflections. She provided expert services with a skilled hand. I loved the results and will return for a massage, Botox upkeep and plan to use Dr. O. as my primary care physician.
I turned 50 this year and have never had a massage or facial. I decided to have each done to celebrate my mother's birthday, who passed away 5 years ago. I wanted to do something she never did and I'm sure she would have enjoyed. I really did not know what to expect, but felt at ease as soon as I entered the facility. The only drawback is...this could be an addictive habit! I left feeling like a new woman! I recommended Radiant Reflections to my daughter who is already planning to call and set up an appointment.
I was a little skeptical about the Vampire Facelift, but Dr. Otaigbe gave me a book to read that explained the science behind the procedure. Once I understood how it worked I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I didn’t need a facelift but I felt like my skin was dull and needed “new life” so to speak. Dr. Otaigbe was wonderful! She was so engaging and understanding as I was a bit nervous. I can’t say enough about now pleased I am with the results. My skin is refreshed and plump and I look more lively and much younger than before. My son is getting married this fall and I’ve already talked to Dr. Otaigbe about giving me a little touch up so I will look my best for the big day. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness, compassion and professionalism!
your question underscores the value of a comprehensive in-person evaluation. The choice of applicator depends very much on whether or not the area to be treated will completely fill the vacuum cup (you want this to happen) and the orientation of the tissue. If it is a small area, you may do better with two CoolAdvantage petite treatments to get the best results. If you use a large applicator and the tissue does not make good and complete contact with the vacuum cup, the results will not be good and you may end up with uneven residual tissue. Talk to your provider and ask questions regarding the rationale for their recommendations. Best wishes on your cool journey!
First of all, congratulations on your efforts in maintaining a healthy lifestyle! This is a testament to how invested you are in your well being. As you have rightly pointed out; many of us still struggle with localized pockets of fat in spite of a healthy lifestyle. Coolsculpting sounds like a great option for you. It is possible that when the area to be treated has a larger volume of fat; there can be residual skin laxity and a great clinician will point this out at the time of your assessment for the procedure. Although there is no picture to review along with your post, given your weight and size indicated; it sounds like this would be unlikely in your case. However, this can only be definitively determined during your consultation. With regards to skin laxity, there are several non surgical skin tightening options available. Laser or radio frequency is a great option. Also, microneedling with PRP or even placement of smooth threads to stimulate collagen production. Talk to your aesthetic medical provider to further explore your best options. Best wishes on your cool journey!
One good way of dealing with this issue is to ensure that you are getting your neurotoxin injections at regular intervals, preferably before the effects wear off completely. Persistent ‘11s’ can also be addressed with smooth threads. This is a quick procedure in an area where we would not otherwise inject fillers. The smooth threads act as solid fillers. They set up collagen formation. Typically, a series of three treatments spaced a month apart should give great results!
