5 weeks post op. Does this separation and asymmetry have any chance of fixing up without further operation? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hi and thanks for asking your question. Ideally it will take several months before you know for sure if everything has healed properly, however, there is some asymmetry here which may not be corrected even with more time.

If you have a revision it should also incorporate a clitoral hood reduction.

Can Mona Lisa Touch help Interstitial Cystitis Symptoms?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hi and thanks for submitting your question, unfortunately a laser that directly deals with the superficial vaginal epithelium would do very little for the bladder.

Masturbation four days after labiaplasty, did I do irreversible damage?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hi and thanks for submitting your question. Ideally nothing should really interact at or near the surgical site. Besides the general concern for potentially disturbing the stitches, I would also be concerned about infection of the surgical site.

I would avoid any genital contact for 6 weeks to allow for full healing.

1 month post labiaplasty & vaginoplasty. Had anal sex. Perineum opened up & bled. (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Thanks for submitting your question. It appears that your perineoplasty repair has separated and this will now need to heal by secondary intention. Which means it will take more time and you will need to avoid all penetrative sexual activity for some time.

You should see your surgeon or a local provider to determine the best course of action.

The bruising I know is normal but how do I know if I have a hematoma forming? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Thanks for submitting your question. It would be hard to say you have a hematoma unless you are examined. From your pictures, it appears that you some normal post op swelling and bruising. You will need to give it more time before you can be for sure.

Hope this helps.

Is my vagina opening normal? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hi and thanks for submitting your question. The vagina appears normal and your decision to have a labialplasty is a personal one. That said, any type of prolapse or other urogyn evaluation will need to be done in person.

Have this assessment before you have any cosmetic procedure.

Hope this helps!

Is it common for the cliterus to be in the wrong place after surgery and will this heal back to normal?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hi and thank for submitting your question. Ideally it would be great to see a pic, especially a before and after and even better to do an in-person exam. However, just being 10 days post labiaplasty, it would be way too pre-mature to assume it was done wrong or healing wrong or that the surgeons technique was not ideal.

I would wait just a till after the full 6-8 weeks post op time frame and then decide if it looks ok to you. Then talk to your surgeon.

Labiaplasty a week after coolsculpting?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Thanks for your question, there is not issue at all for combining these procedures, so feel free to have this done. Most cosmetic centers will try to bundle these procedures into a more affordable pricing option.

Is it possible for my insurance to cover my labiaplasty if I had an accident at a younger age?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Many times insurance will not cover these procedure and may require authorization to see if it will be covered. Most doctors that specialize in this type of corrective surgery do not accept insurance due to the hassle around it and usually not getting paid even with authorization.

Hope you are able to find the help you need!

Botched labiaplasty; who's the best at Labiaplasty revision in Florida? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hi and thanks for your question, I'm sorry you are not happy with your results, any revision should not be attempted for the first 4-6 months after a primary surgery.

Do not let geography be a limiting factor for you to get a proper revision done. But I'm sure with research you will find good surgeons in your area as well.

Best of luck.
