It is difficult for me to put into words how enthusiastic I am about the transplant with Dr Laerowong. I researched good surgeons in Bangkok in forums and reviews on the internet long before the procedure. I kept coming across Dr Laerowong in reviews. I went on holiday to Thailand with some trepidation, so that I would have the procedure done at the end of the trip, i.e. 3-4 days before departure. I would have been skeptical about having this procedure done in Germany, but abroad you become even more skeptical about the care, quality of the service, hygiene, expertise/training of the doctor.I then went to Dr Laerowong for an assessment, after sending him pictures in advance via email. I also paid a deposit of around €500 for the appointment. During the consultation I met Dr Laerowong in person. Since I develop products in the medical field myself, and also develop products together with doctors, I immediately classify the encounter and the way Dr Laerowong behaved as professional. No customer prisoner, fully focused on the work.Before the procedure, I was given Valium and painkillers. You can feel the injections on your scalp, but nothing afterwards. You fall into a twilight state, sleep, wake up again, sleep again. I had 3500 crafs transplanted, the procedure took at least 10-12 hours including breaks. And the long time lying down is also the only thing you notice on your back.I was able to observe again and again how Dr Laerowong transplanted the hair himself with full concentration, also with the help of another doctor.After the procedure, the typical headscarf, clear instructions on what to do and how to do it. Immediately after the procedure, I met up with my family in a mall, we went shopping and ate. No pain, nothing (please strictly follow the doctor's instructions regarding movement, etc.).Sleeping in the first few nights is uncomfortable, as you have to sleep in an elevated position and you can also feel it when you lie down (even I ordered a special neck pillow).I then went for three more follow-up checks, which included washing, disinfection and an assessment. Then the flight home. The results are excellent. It takes the usual amount of time. My hair has been more or less filled in. I have full hair again. And what makes this doctor so special is that you simply cannot tell that it is an operation. The direction in which the hair grows, everything is just as I had it before. It is a masterpiece. A year later, I had another 3500 grafts transplanted into the back of my head. The same perfection. Compared to other providers in Thailand, Dr Larowong is certainly on the higher end of the price range, definitely more expensive than in Turkey, for example. But you get a sensational result that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. I can fully recommend Dr Larowong in every respect. A luminary in my opinion, who really lives his job and is fully focused. I have seen results from colleagues in Germany, and also from Turkey. I underwent 4120 FUE hair transplant with dr laorwong on the 13th of Feb Clinic was clean and staff were super friendly and caring. Dr laorwong spent lots of time in the design of my new hair line and answered any questions I had. Was very impressed with the final outcome after my surgery my head was clean and not raw like so many other clinics you find in turkey , I have no regrets travelling from aus to get my HT done at absolute hair clinic 5 stars!
I recently flew to Thailand to have a FUE hair transplant by Dr Kongkiat Laorwong in Bangkok. At age 33 I was always paranoid about my receding hairline. In Australia I had done SMP tattooing which was fine for a while but whenever my hair would get to a certain length it was very obvious. I done my research into FUE doctors and eliminated turkey as I found there work to be quiet out dated and post surgery images looked a lot more raw. Australia being a extremely inflated country in terms of pricing was just out of the question and the skill level and experience of the doctors just didn’t sit well with me. My procedure with Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong was done yesterday 26/9/20022. I had 2100 grafts implanted at the front of my head filling the hairline and some. My welcome into the clinic was amazing and warm. Dr Laorwong’s staff was very caring and accomodating and really took good care of me throughout. Dr Laorwong made me feel very comfortable about the process. He isn’t a man or many words but when it comes to the procedure itself he knows exactly what to say and do…it shows by the international and thai awards on his reception. Excellent The most impressive thing was the doctors hands on involvement in all steps of surgery which is extremely rare. This was my second surgery so I have done alot of homework on the different types of instruments ect.. The doctor even emailed me directly and made a call at my request. You only have a certain number of grafts I recommend you choose carefully and I recommend Kongkiat Laorwong, MD, FISHRS As the person I want to look after my grafts from here on out.

Absolute hair clinic is one of the best hair transplant clinic in the world. I had hair transplant of about 1900 grafts. It was done by FUE. Dr. Kongkiat uses the best and the latest punch,Trivellini system for FUE. Dr. Kongkiat goes through all the process of the surgery by himself. He shaves the hair of donor part by himself, He does the grafts Insertion with his experienced assistants. He is with a patient throughout surgery. It is not like other hair transplant clinic. All the staffs are very friendly, kind, doing good care with great skills. I asked Dr.Kongkiat to take as many grafts as possible.. I told him I wanted 2500 grafts but he took 1900 grafts as a result. Because 2500 grafts are over harvesting and the donor part could become too thin. I do recognize that he is very responsible, humble, and proud of himself as a hair transplant doctor. He is not doing his work only for money. The result is excellent. My hair looks much thicker than before surgery. The scars from surgery are very small and almost invisible even very short hair. The cost is cheaper, The result is the best! excellent!
My experience with Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong could not have been better. His staff was kind, attentive, and meticulous; his clinic was clean and pleasant; and the doctor himself was professional and responsive. The transplant included 3,000 grafts -- the process took about eight hours. There was some pinching discomfort as the nurses administer the local anesthetic on the head, but the staff did a great job of keeping this to a minimum. Once they got started, the process was largely pain free and I even dozed off a few times. After the surgery, the nurses were even kind enough to make sure I made it home safely! That was a full three weeks ago. The sensitive portion of the healing process was mostly done within the first 10 days. The swelling subsided after four days. There was minor scabbing but after the 10th day, I could see my new hairline without any obvious signs of the surgery. It's a great feeling recognizing yourself in the mirror again -- I wish I had done it sooner. The only lingering effect is that I haven't recovered full feeling on my head, but the numbness is a normal part of the healing process. I would recommend Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong to anyone. It was a great experience.
I would like to thank Dr. Laorwong and all his staff. The whole FUE procedure was very professional and painless. I did 2 procedures with him, with a 1 year interval in between for a total of 6000 grafts. I am very pleased with the results of the first 3000 grafts from last year and the recent operation for the remaining 3000 grafts went very smoothly and looks good so far. The clinic is clean and well equipped. Both the staff and Dr. are friendly and are happy to answer any of my many questions. They were also very responsive to all my many emails both before and after. Additionally, they now use a laser (I believe it's called LLLT) to assist with recovery which cuts down greatly on after surgery creams/gels etc. Before I chose Absolute hair clinic I had read many forums and reviews online. I am happy to report that Dr. Laorwong exceeded all expectations.

If your doctor harvested equally both sides, this could be a shock loss. After porcedure 3-4 months, you can tell this is shock loss or over-harvested. Applying 5% minoxidil lotion might help regrow the hair in that area.
You have a decent result, and your scalp donor still have enough to do the crown. Beard hair is different form scalp hair, thicker and when you wear it long it's wired, so you can use the to add on the density, and not for the hairline.
It might happen to the existing transplanted hairs if the second one does not follow the angle or direction, hopefully they will grow back 3-4 months after procedure.
This is not normal, infection on recipient site, they need some drainage too. You should take oral antibiotics a bit longer, may be 2-3 weeks.
From pre-op photos, the recipient area has different color did you have scar there? The result was not good, you should discuss with your doctor what can be done or see another opinions.
