Depending upon the type of material your dentist used is the key question. Acrylic can be added to however Zirconium cannot. Ask your dentist about yours and tell them your dilemma. If you do not tell them , they will never know that you are unhappy with the final outcome. It may be an easy fix.

Veneers would be a fabulous alternative for you to close the gap that you see. The gap that you see is not very large comparing others. Veneers would be conservative, yet long lasting and would not discolor like composite resin fillings do.

If there is no other way to change your gummy smile on your denture, you may want to consider Botox to lower the amount of movement of your upper lip. Botox is a neurotoxin that acts on muscle fibers and relaxes them for a 3-4 month span. If you like how this looks, you could get a lip lowering surgery as a more permanent way to hide the gummy smile or keep going every 3-4 months for the injection of neurotoxin.

You are young and your body is probably at it's strongest at this time of your life. Without radiographs, it is hard to determine how much bone you have remaining. There are three parts to an implant: 1) the implant itself, which is like an artificial root. 2) The abutment which attaches the implant to the crown. 3) the crown which is the shape of the tooth you see when you open your mouth to talk and chew food.
You should start by having a long term plan with your dentist to have bone grafts placed with imaging and a surgical guide for the location of future implants. If you have the funds, start the implant placements right away, maybe 2 at a time until you have them all placed. Start the process now so that the bone does not reabsorb. Without roots /implants inside your jawbone, the bone resorbs quickly. Once all implants are placed, you can add the abutments and crowns slower because the bone will not reabsorb and have time to save money for the next phase of treatment.

In your situation, the best option is the person who does sinus augmentations routinely. As far as placements, since it sounds like you have single tooth placements, either surgeon would probably be okay for the implant placement portion of your treatment. Sinus surgery usually has to be performed 4-6 months prior to the implant placement. In some instances, it can be performed at the same time as the implant placement.
