I had an amazing experience! I had Laser Resurfacing done for me acne. I loved the results! The staff were super friendly and the process was very easy. Kassia helped me set up my appointment and answered so many of my questions. Dr. Khatri was so pleasant At the clinic, the doctor applied a thick layer of numbing cream and let it sit for 30 minutes. When he started with the laser on one side of my face, I could feel a mild zapping similar to that of laser hair removal. The downtime required for full recovery is one to two weeks, depending on how quickly your skin heals. For me, full recovery took 14 days, meaning all the scabbing had come off and my skin had healed. I love my results and will definitely be coming back.
I felt comfortable from the moment I entered the office. My skin and face look so much more youthful since I had the Laser resurfacing. It take up to 6 months to see the final results. I am very happy. Thanks Dr. Khatri!
At 48, I have decent skin (with a little help from Botox!) but felt like I could do more. I am an RN in the aesthetics industry so my expectations are realistic . I looked into a neck lift but the price was more than I wanted to spend (not to mention I didn’t want to go under anesthesia ). Anyway, here begins my journey... Updated on 29 Nov 2017: I’m 24 hours out and so far it’s ok. I had significant swelling over night and crusting from the serrous drainage/oozing. A cool wash and more aquaphor and a few ice packs later, I could go out with a hat and glasses! Updated on 29 Nov 2017: The large spot over my R eye was from a PDL laser for a red mark. Updated on 30 Nov 2017: Skin feels tight and eyes pretty swollen after sleeping but otherwise think it’s progressing as it should. Good thing I have lots of indoor projects to do still! Updated on 1 Dec 2017: I feel like today was a turning point of sorts! Most of my face peeled after showering this morning. I was even able to use a serum instead of aquaphor and with a little cover up, I left the house for the first time in days! Updated on 7 Dec 2017: Had my follow up a week after the procedure. All is going accordingly. I won’t see the true benefit for about 3 months but I’m hopeful! I have coverup on the spot over my right brow, otherwise, no makeup. Updated on 31 Dec 2017: A month post procedure and I feel like I see improvement in my neck (that was my biggest area of concern). Overall pleased so far. In this picture you’ll note a spot on my left cheek and my forehead...still get occasional breakouts!
CO2RE is the best treatment if you wish to get the most results with one treatment. First, it removes layers of skin that are damaged or showing signs of aging. The second goal is to stimulate your body’s production of collagen. By stimulating the collagen it will help to boost collagen production and helps the volume, skin feels tighten. Depending on the settings, it is not penetrative enough to melt fat and cause the volume loss.
Spider veins are thread-like purple/red broken blood vessels or blue/green larger vessels. They generally develop on the face or legs and may look like thin branches or strands of a spider web. Spider veins are mainly a cosmetic issue but for some people, they can become very uncomfortable and can cause aching, burning, swelling, and leg cramping.
Yes, Aviclear works on hormonal acne. AviClear is an FDA-approved laser treatment that targets the sebum also known as the oil glands, which are the root causes of acne. It works by delivering a precise wavelength of light energy that penetrates the skin’s surface and destroys the bacteria that cause acne. This technology also helps reduce inflammation and prevent future breakouts. AviClear treatments are fast and easy, usually there is no downtime required, so patients can resume their normal activities right away.
For smaller periorbital veins, we typically recommend sclerotherapy as the safest and most effective method of therapy. Using a very tiny micro needle, we inject a solution directly into the veins to fade away over time.
Temporary mild skin dryness is common after treatment and has been reported by up to 22% of female and 13% of male subjects enrolled in clinical studies conducted with the AviClear Laser System. If skin dryness occurs, it is normally noticed 1-2 days after treatment and typically resolves in a few days to 2 weeks with application of topical skin moisturizers (e.g., CeraVe®, Cetaphil®); however, it can persist up to 4 weeks.
