I was worried beforehand about swelling, knowing from a previous surgery that I tend to swell and hold on to that swelling a bit more than average. Dr. Parsa explained why with my skin type I would have the tendency to take slightly longer for swelling to go down. I felt good after surgery and had such minimal pain in the days that followed that I didn’t need any pain medication.
