It is difficult to be sure whether you will see a benefit in the elasticity of your vaginal walls after radiation treatments. Radiation can cause deep damage to the surrounding tissue resulting in reduced blood flow, collage and elasticity and often making the women prone to scar tissue. We know that the Femilift works well in undamaged tissue and can reverse the vaginal tissue changes resulting from child birth and the lack of estrogen. In my experience one can not expect the typical response from tissue that has been exposed to radiation. I would be concerned about a poor healing response in the area after any treatment. I believe that your best bet would be starting with vaginal estrogen cream and then begin working with vaginal dilators as the tissue gains the ability to have more stretch.

ThermiVa attempts to tighten the vagina using heat alone and triggering changes in the vaginal walls. Though there has not been a study comparing the Femilift to the ThermiVa, the Femilift works using two mechanisms- it ablates or vaporizes portions of the vaginal tissue and additionally heats the surrounding tissue resulting in the development of new blood vessels and collagen in the area. As the Femilift goes beyond only heating the tissue, it is very likely that you will see a better response.
(The only difficulty is that vaginal laxity is very subjective and is difficult to objectively measure).

Yes, Femilift does a great job in tightening the vagina. We've had many patients with extremely happy partners. Vaginal laxity is often a problem after having children. The tissues have been stretched out to accommodate the deliver of a baby. Kegel exercises can help some women but requires lots of repetitions and it only minimally increases the tone in the outer most portion of the vagina.  A good example of our success comes from a women who commented that vaginal laxity was so bad that her tampon would fall out as soon as she sat on the toilet. After her first treatment she noticed that she actually had to pull the tampon out! She has not had to do this in years! 

Post micturition dribble is usually an anatomic issue not an issue with the integrity of the vaginal wall that supports the urethra. Post micturition dribbling is often caused by a portion of the bladder laying below the outlet of the urethra so that the bladder does not empty completely. The urethra will drain the urine until the level of the urine falls below the level of the urethral outlet. Femilift will not help with this issue. If part of your urinary issues  are related to stress incontinence or urge incontinence, Femilift will help you find relief.  You may need an appointment for evaluation to determine the true cause of your urine leakage.

It is recommended that future FemiLift treatments be put on hold should you find out that you are pregnant. You'll find it very beneficial to resume the treatments after delivery- no sooner than 6 weeks post deliver.
