Just picked up my Accutane. I decided to start the treatment tomorrow. Praying and Hoping for minimal side effects. I will get some A & D ointment. I think the hardest part is having to go to work out and out in public. Wishing I had started it 6 months ago. Oh well.. Here goes.... I'm grateful for the reviews on this website . It has really given me some insight on what to look forward too. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Today is my second pill.. No changes as of yet.. I will continue to make weekly post.. I'm hoping for results. I know I have to be patient..Ready to start my journey with no make up for 2018!! Acne is a struggle.. Updated on 26 Nov 2017: I have two small pimples under my skin today.. I haven't had a pimple in months.. minimal dry skin as you can see in the picture. Hopefully it stays small and goes away.. I been drinking more water.. I had a headache and dry eyes yesterday but that's pretty much it. Trying to stay relax and calm while on this medication.. I'm jut hoping the side effects don't get really bad to the point where I don't to go to work. I will continue to keep posting my updates and my experiences. Updated on 26 Nov 2017: Face looks shiny then usual. Not sure why I have three small pimples... oh well. With the bf comes the good I guess. I will embrace the change and keep faith alive. Tomorrow is day 4 here goes .. I did switch facial cleaners. I guess I better switch back tomorrow. They were working and I made an unnecessary change. Updated on 27 Nov 2017: Day 4.. I've decided to take the medicine that way if I experience some sort of side effect it won't happen while I'm at work. I experienced some minor foot pain yesterday and today.. my eyes were dry as well. I have two or three pimples on my face as of today. as for dry lips and skin.. not yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.. looking forward to day 5. I keep continue to post daily pics. Updated on 30 Nov 2017: Really bad dry lips today. Maybe it's just me but but I don't see any changes. Oh.. a small headache this morning. Other than that I'm fine. Updated on 1 Dec 2017: Here are the before pics. Also I have included pix from June with my acne was at it worst. Popping them obviously left me with the dark scars.. Updated on 3 Dec 2017: The right side seems to be my biggest issue at this moment . I have only experienced dry lips. Not sure if I can see a lot of change. I wore makeup and the dark spots are very noticeable even with the makeup. Tomorrow starts day 11 of the Medication. Thanks for reading and the motivation from others on the site I will keep hope alive. Updated on 4 Dec 2017: Wow.. I am really starting to notice some of the dark spots fading. So far I've only experienced dry lips .. thank god.. I'm excited to see what month 2 or 3 will look like. The doctor said I have to take Accutane for 5-6 months.. please let me know if you see any changes from the posted pictures. Updated on 4 Dec 2017: I wanted to add the other side of my face from day to now . Updated on 23 Dec 2017: Looks like I'm starting to see great improvement from the medicine. The black spots are fading .. I have one pimple but that's pretty much it. My lips are alway dry biggest issue but other than that I'm great. I am scheduled to go to my doctor at the end of the month for a refill on my Accutane. Thanks for reading I will continue to update .. ???? Updated on 16 Feb 2018: Updated on 21 Feb 2018: Not noticing as much progress as I would like . My diet as been a hot mess I’m sure that has a lot to do with it.. UGH!! Updated on 18 Apr 2018: After noticing the pictures from before I can really see improvement. I still have some dark spots and two months to go .. Updated on 28 Jun 2018: Two months left. Face has really Improved. It’s worth it.. stay tuned.. just when you think it’s not working.. the results smack you in the face . The dark spots have faded and no pimples .. I pray it stays clear after medicine . Only time will tell.. lips are a little pink and dry no other issues
