Implants should not ever be associated with the sinus. They can be close to the sinus but not go into it! It wil lbecome a failure. They can get infection around them as well as the implant needs sufficient bone strength and support for the implant to remain stable. If your dentist is suggesting this then you should reconsider. If you are pushing your dentist to do this to save money, then you should find another alternative to mini-implants. They are not hoghly recommended anyway unless it is short term. Good luck to you.
You do not necessarily need a referral to see a specialist. They will do an exam prior to any treatment anyway. It is nic eof you have already had an exam by the general dentist but it is not usually necessary. Good luck.

A tooth colored bonding material can be placed to cover the recession and with proper tooth care can also help to reduce the future recession. It should look very natural and esthetic when complete. As well, it is far cheaper than a veneer or crown.
I agree with the others. Need a reason not to have been given the option for an implant. also, the bridge should fit very well before cementing it permanently. You also should have been given a mirror to view the bridge prior to cementing it permanently. I would go back and talk to him to see what his new options are. A bridge is not a bad idea but an implant is generally better!!!!
The sort answer is that I would have the canine brought down with braces if possible. The alternative is to have it removed and an implant placed. It sounds as though you are rather young, and your natural teeth are much better than anything else! Braces will also align the rest of your teeth at thge same time. Be careful in just extracting teeth. Remember, it can never grow back!1
