I got daxxify in March and my results are still going strong! it kicked in really fast for me (within a day) and it's been over 4 months and my results are still looking great. I can make natural expressions but my lines aren't back yet so I'm excited to see how long it lasts! Also didn't feel heavy at all which is a plus. Will definitely get daxxify again.
Upper eyelids, sliver of skin off of each one. It was the easiest surgery and virtually pain free. NO JOKE . Went in on a Thurs. mid-day and back at work, with glasses, on Mon. I took (1)Tylenol w/ cod on the first night, slept like Lilly Muenster and voila! It's only been 2.5 weeks and I am BEYOND THRILLED. I know I am Dr. Marcus' biggest PITA (pain ...) but I was so concerned about looking over the top - I really didn't want my surgery to be noticeable (only to ME) , and I was afraid of looking like a hot/wide eyed mess. Subtle, subtle, subtle. And it is. It's a perfect fit for me and my face/personality. Dr. M is an excellent plastic surgeon, he's meticulous and treated me like a work of art. HE IS THE REAL DEAL, FOLKS - what on earth are you waiting for????!!
Dr. Keith Marcus is just fantastic. He's super intelligent, professional, down-to-earth, and his staff is always so warm and welcoming. I've received Cellfina and CoolSculpting here and I would highly recommend both!
De Marcus is amazing. He is honest and will not recommend any unnecessary work. I shopped around and spoke to many doctors before I chose him. I continue to come to the office for fillers and laser treatments. He’s very friendly and easy to talk to.
Always a great experience with Dr. Marcus. He is patient and listens. He is also very honest even if it means telling me I don’t need a certain injection or treatment. I always appreciate his sincerity and trust him completely.
I decided to treat myself with a little bit of uplift as I was shopping in the South Bay and found Dr. Marcus. I was blessed enough to get in the same day due to someone else’s cancellation. I’ve been back several times for the excellent care!
When I decided to try cool sculpting on some stubborn tummy fat, Dr. Marcus's office was my obvious first choice. I had this treatment done a couple of years ago on another body part, so I was familiar with the process, but the practice manager, Sarah was telling me about the recent updates that CoolScupt had made to the technology and treatment times. Danica performed my treatment and was amazing. I had 2 cycles to treat the area of concern and it took just a little over an hour for the session. It has now been a little over 2 weeks and I can already see some improvement. I am going to continue to massage the area and I am excited to see my full results in a few more weeks. This is one of the most educated, professional and personable offices in Southern California. I love the whole team!
It's not always easy being comfortable in your own skin after giving birth to children, so I did my research and found Dr. Marcus and saw that not only was he local and affordable but they offered the procedures I was looking into getting. Dr. Marcus and staff were very professional and made me feel very comfortable as well as confident in the procedure I would be undergoing. They're location inside and out is beautiful I felt very welcomed when I entered and was welcome by a friendly smile and offered a. beverage. Dr. Marcus and staff who performed the procedure were extremely informative and efficient, they explained every part of the procedure before starting (showing me photos of myself before) and as I was undergoing the procedure. My favorite part of the procedure which made me feel the most comfortable was before starting Dr. Marcus asked me what my favorite genre of music was and he played that throughout the whole procedure. It has been 3 weeks since my Cellfina procedure and I can tell the difference in my legs/upper thighs where everything looks a lot more toned and smooth I am no longer uncomfortable wearing shorts/bathing suit. Thank you Dr. Marcus & team!
I am 69 and had the TotalFX Co2 laser treatment from Dr. Marcus 4 weeks ago. My skin looks really smooth and my skin tone is a healthy glow. Unlike before, the only makeup I need now is eye makeup. Dr. Marcus and his staff were so nice and always great about answering all my questions so I knew exactly what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Marcus!
At age 70 I am so grateful that I am able to play tennis, golf, and most importantly, keep up with my grandkids! However, I didn't look as young as I felt. The sagging skin on my jowls and neck gave me a pulled down sad look. I went to Dr. Keith Marcus for a consultation and he was upfront about my options. I chose to do a lower face lift since it would show the best and longest lasting results. I couldn't be more pleased! The entire process went seemlessly and the staff was so supportive every step of the way. It was much easier than I anticipated. I highly recommend Dr. Marcus!
Fillers will make a nice difference for the overall appearance...it should make you look less tired. The under eye area is trickier and more complex than most so I would find a physician who does a lot of fillers in this area which we call the "tear trough". You may also have some pseudoherniation of fat from the lower eyelids which could benefit from a transconjunctival blepharoplasty, but it is difficult to assess from the pictures. It is my opinion that trying fillers first before a more aggressive blepharoplasty would be a good idea. Regards, Dr. Marcus.
If you opt for an external approach for the chin implant, there will be a small scar in the submental area. The scar is usually just about an inch long and ends up being a fine line. Any time you make an incision there will be a scar but the scar usually heals exceptionally well in this area since there is not a lot of muscle movement to pull the scar as it heals. Lasers, microneedling, dermabrasion, massage, scar gels, steroid injections and more can all be ancillary procedures which help the scarring process. Your surgeon will take you through the best ways to improve the scar if it is noticeable. Good luck!
It is always difficult to 100% assess from photographs, but it appears you do have a moderate tear trough medially and mild concavity laterally in the tear trough. Filler would be of benefit for this; there are no wrong answer in regards to which filler you would use. Most would avoid Sculptra (which is really a bio stimulator), Radiesse (which is Calcium Hydroxylapatite), and Artefill which is more permanent. Less hydrophilic fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm Voluma are nice in the tear trough area because there is very little swelling after the procedure. I personally use Restylane at a 100% concentration or blend the Juvederm Voluma with a small amount of saline to decrease its viscosity. As for the lines, yours appear to be dynamic lines from muscle movement of the orbicularis oculi muscle. If Botox doesn't work, it might be worth trying Dysport or Xeomin. I cannot truly assess whether you have pseudoherniation of fat in the lower eyelid. If you do, there would definitely be benefit from lower eyelid surgery. In regards to the upper eyelids, it appears the brow is heavy and slightly ptotic so a brow lift would be more beneficial than upper eyelid surgery. There are so many different ways to address these issues and discussing them thoroughly with your surgeon is the best starting place. You can always start with non invasive techniques like fillers and toxins and then move to surgical modalities if you are not pleased. Good Luck!
