I was afraid of botox at first, seeing so many cases of where it is overdone. Dr. Holcomb was great in that she specializes in injecting the perfect amount and in the right places to where you look refreshed and wrinkle free, without looking "done."
I saw Dr. Holcomb and have never had a better experience with a doctor. If your talking about cosmetic expert PLUS kind and caring, you've found it with her. Which, in my experience until now has been impossible to find. I recommend her to everyone.
Because she is knowledgeable & experienced! She knows exactly how much each individual needs & never goes overboard! She is the BEST!!!!!This review was created as part of a nomination to the RealSelf I Love My Injector Campaign.
Dr is VERY friendly, courteous, & attentive! Staff as well. Highly recommend to family and friends! Does NOT push cosmetic treatments, etc like other practices in the city have tried with me years ago. She removed a mole on my face that and had it checked for cancer - it came back positive for skin cancer - the staff member who called to inform me was quite gentle and caring...have had melanoma in past and thankfully this is not that type of cancer...but still concerning and now on a medicated gel. Cannot speak more highly of she and Dr. Lupo than I already do.
I had the procedure done to clear up my skin. It barely caused any pain more like a light stinging sensation. Every time i have gotten the procedure done my skin looks better every single time. There really was not any cons to the procedure because the results came out what was expected from what Dr Holcomb stated.
Dr Holcomb is the sweetest and caring Dr. you will meet, she is very concerned about your complete happiness as relating to your procedure. I had facial hair removed and yes it was worth every dime, not to have to cut hair everyday off my face is truly a blessing for me, because my schedule is so hectic. My personal opinion you can not go wrong with Dr. Holcomb.
Hi Clarissa, Filler would be a much less costly procedure and while not permanent, it would likely last more than 1 year. Once you have had surgery, the anatomy of the vessels in the nose change making injection more risky. Make sure you go to someone experienced in this procedure. However, I am sure that filler can make an imprivement.
Necrosis is typically VERY painful and has a specific color. Bruises tend to be sore and with multiple colors that include green-yellow.
A photo does not justify evaluation for necrosis, however, typically skin necrosis is VERY painful. The onset does not have to be immediately after filler. The most important thing is that you have injections performed by an expert in injectables who can handle side effects when they happen. Treatment can involve a multi-approach, including dissolving the filler with hyaluronidase, intake of blood thinners, warmth to stimulate blood flow, and hyperbaric oxygen. Smokers seem to fare worse than those who do not smoke. I suggest seeing your injector or getting a second opinion from an expert.
