She was my doctor with Smile Direct Club, and her plan fit well with my aspirations to fix crowding. It was executed well over 5 months, and I'm happy with the results. Thank you Dr. Guasteferro for the treatment, and to Smile Direct for turning an unaffordable process into something reasonable yet still effective.

First of all, this was a scheduled routine cleaning. I don't know why the dentist was cleaning vs a hygienist, but during the cleaning she was intentionally harming me. She was digging so hard into my gums that they were bleeding. She could tell I was getting uncomfortable and I think she enjoyed it. She became even more aggressive and the pain became unbearable. I said to stop and she would not stop, I had to block her from my mouth and by the time I stood up she had already bolted from the room. She did not care at all about my teeth or gums as she never asked at any point what was wrong or if I was okay. There is something terribly wrong with her and her demeanor. She should never be allowed to practice dentistry without supervision or at all.

They ask what your main goal is when you start - mine was to reduce crowding in my front lower teeth. After 6 months of treatment my teeth are better aligned, but my middle two bottom teeth are not fully aligned. After 4 weeks of trying to reach them with support (they take over a week to respond), there's no progress towards a solution of any kind. They also forgot to send one of my sets of aligners on time and never responded to my email asking about them. They did eventually send them though. Bottom line - they promised aligned teeth, it didn't work fully, and I cannot get support from them to resolve within 4 weeks of trying.
