Just wanted to have a few minor touch ups and wrinkle reducing treatments in the facial area via the injectable products available now. Also, wanted laser lipo to reduce the added belly fat that deposits when you hit menopause. All of the results were great! I look like me, only younger and fresher, more rested. People compliment me all of the time about how young I look "for my age", but no one ever suspects that I've had these cosmetic procedures done unless I choose to tell them. The laser lipo results were very impressive. Going back to have my arms done next month.
Dr. Karen Harkaway miraculously softened deeply-etched expression lines in my forehead using Juvederm. Her technique and precision are like no other! I have tried EVERY topical product out there to make these lines disappear and Dr. Harkaway accomplished this in minutes. Plus, her personality (and skin) are just as amazing as her work!
I am 65 years old, in good health and wanted to look and feel younger. I had ThermiLipo and ThermiTight on my abdomen. I am amazed at what a difference it made!!! The plus side with ThermiTight is that my abdomen will get tighter as the months go by. My clothes fit me much better. I don't have to wear loose fitting tops anymore. Awesome results :-)
Many people told me I looked angry because of the lines between my eyes. Dr Harkaway got rid of them and now I look great! The procedure only tok about two minutes! It was not painful at all - I was nervous for nothing! I plan to continue with my Botox, and since then I have had filler as well. I keep getting better looking - how awesome is that?!
COMPLETE waste of money. It did absolutely nothing!!! I'm in good shape and follow a reasonably healthy diet--I just needed a little "help" in the mid-section area. Almost $2,000 down the drain. I followed all of the instructions--drank the recommended amount of water during the treatments--but nothing. Total (VERY EXPENSIVE) hoax. Save your money.
I do not believe that your symptoms are from the Botox dripping into your eye. The cornea is quite avascular, and even in inner (conjunctival) surface of your eyelid would be unlikely to absorb Botox. If you had difficulty opening your eyelids, I could perhaps attribute it to local effects of Botox, but I suspect that your symptoms are due to something else, perhaps the flu!Good luck,Dr. Harkaway
Without seeing a picture, I would consider Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment to be probably the best option for sun spots. This excellent treatment, which usually takes 3-4 repetitions at monthly intervals, can help with brown or red spots. Of course, it is paramount to continue sun protection during and after treatment.Best regards,Dr Harkaway
This is a good question. You have very nice lips to begin with- I would absolutely not recommend more than one syringe. One may in fact be way too much- you are correct in saying any excess could be used elsewhere! Have a frank discussion with your injector to make sure that he or she is on the same page about not overinjecting.Best regards,Dr Harkaway
I use Juvederm frequently for filling in chin depressions and lines. Without seeing a picture of what you are trying to describe, I cannot say if it would be appropriate for your situation, but certainly it is safely utilized in that area and is very effective. The one place it is not useful is in the mental crease (a line going horizontally about one inch below the lower lip. That line is usually quite resistant to all fillers, for some reason!Best regards,Dr Harkaway
Thank you for your question. Yes, it sounds like a half syringe would fit your needs very well. The lips often do not need too much - a little bit goes a long way to create a natural, fuller lip.Best regards,Dr Harkaway
