Dr Singh review Following my lipoedema diagnosis by an NHS doctor, I began looking for a surgeon to perform the liposuction procedure on my legs. I have read a lot about surgeons in Europe but, as a mum to a young family, I didn’t want to leave home for too long. After a quick Google search for UK surgeons, I reached out to Manchester private hospital who put me in contact with Dr Singh for a free consultation. Lorraine was fantastic, she co-ordinated the calls really efficiently. Dr Singh put my mind at ease immediately during the video consultation. This was probably my third consultation with different surgeons and I knew as soon as I left that call that I was going to book with him. I had a face-to-face consultation following this which was just as reassuring. I had liposuction under local anaesthetic on my ‘upper legs’, which included my outer thighs, inner thighs, around and below the knees. This was sculpted into hips and flanks, leaving me with a seamless curvy shape. Pain-wise, the local anaesthetic was really quite uncomfortable/painful but this seems to be down to the individual patient (based on other reviews that I’ve read). At the end of the day, if I were to do this again, I’d still pick local anaesthetic just for the faster recovery and the reduced risks. The recovery was pretty textbook and surprisingly easy, I only took paracetamol from day 2, was highly mobile and had to remind myself to slow down in order to allow my body to heal. My wounds stopped leaking by the next morning and I just felt achey like I’d done a REALLY good workout. ‘Swell hell’ kicked in around days 7-10 but MLD sorted that out really quickly! I urge anyone having the surgery to stock up on iron and electrolytes as these were key to my speedy recovery.The aftercare was brilliant with a 24hr line for support. I also had routine check-ins online with Dr Singh (these would typically be in person but I live in Cornwall). I travelled back to Manchester for my six week check and I’m happy to say that we’re all pleased with the results, no one more so than me!! I’m over the moon; I have the knees that I’ve always wished for, my thighs have been slimmed back to a size and shape that I remember from years ago and the swelling in the bottom half of my legs has reduced as a result of the surgery. I’m so pleased with my new shape and can’t thank my surgeon and his team enough! I can’t wait to see the six month results when all the remaining swelling (upper inner thighs) has settled down and my skin has had a chance to tighten up a bit more!
I had a wonderful experience, I was so scared going in for Vaser liposuction with Dr Kam Singh, however when I met him he was so lovely and reassuring and explained everything to me. I nearly pulled out of the operation leading up to it because I was so worried, but I always had support right there from Lorraine. Well I did it and my results are fabulous in just 5 weeks post op everyone has noticed how good I look. Trust me this is not something I took lightly and I was so worried, but I am so glad I went ahead with the procedure and Dr Singh is the most lovely and amazing doctor ever. Kam honestly has sculpted my body and given me so much confidence! The process was so smooth and so much easier than I thought it was going to be, Lorraine was always quick to respond with any queries I had and both Kam and Lorraine made me feel so comfortable and reassured throughout the whole process. Very happy and confident after having Vaser Liposuction. Dr Singh and Lorraine are absolutely amazing. I’m so happy I decided to go with Dr Singh. On the day of surgery I don’t remember much, it all happened so quickly and the staff were amazing. Recovery wasn’t too bad, just a little sore and uncomfortable. Definitely worth it!
I had Vaser liposuction 3 Areas stomach and flanks with Dr Kam Singh. It was worth it very penny, I have my confidence back. He was knowledgeable, informative and very good at what does. My coordinator Lorraine was also on hand for any query I had before and after my surgery, I was supported the whole way though .

After having my first treatment 2 years ago with Dr Kam Singh, I specifically requested him to perform my second treatment as his care and attention to detail is fantastic. Since puberty, I always had “big legs”. Growing up this really affected my mental health as the thought of going on holiday and wearing summer clothes would fill me with dread. My leg was shaped like columns with ankle cuffs. They were extremely heavy and would ache constantly. I was told at the time that I needed to diet a loose weight, but my legs were massively out of proportion to the rest of my body and no amount of diet and exercise did anything. In March 2023 I was finally diagnosed with lipedema and it was recommended that a suitable treatment would be Vaser liposuction. I researched clinics that would perform the surgery and I came across the Manchester private hospital. From the minute I had my first consultation with Dr. Kam Singh he put me completely at ease and told me that I would need two surgeries - one on the top of my legs and one on my lower legs. I had my first surgery in November 2023 and my second surgery in 2024. I honestly can’t believe the results. I am only 8 weeks post op and I’m so pleased. I went to see Dr Singh after suspecting i had lipoedema in my lower legs. I've always had abnormally large ankles, I am a fairly slim person wearing size 8, and my ankles were one of my biggest insecurities, I would dread summer and would be very restricted when it came to clothing and shoes. After meeting Dr Singh he confirmed that I did have lipoedema in my lower legs and I decided to go ahead with the surgery (vaser liposuction), something i had wanted for many years. Dr Singh answered all my questions in my consultation, and also met with me once more prior to my operation to dicuss some of my worries and concerns. On the day of the surgery, the nurses were very friendly and comforting, I didn't feel distressed or worried. Dr Singh was equally as calm and friendly and I felt at ease heading into surgery. After my surgery I was over the moon, however I did still have some fat/fluid remaining in one of my ankles, when I discussed this with Dr Singh, he took notice of my concern straight away and had Lorraine book me in for surgery as soon as it was possible. I am now finished with both surgeries and I couldn't be happier, not only has it transformed the look of my legs, one of my biggest insecurities has disappeared, as well as the discomfort I experience prior to having the surgery.
The day of my procedure I was nervous and scared. But as soon as I walked into the hospital the nurses and Dr made me so comfortable. Many thanks to Dr Kam Singh you were amazing and I could not have asked for a better Dr. Every staff member that I was in contact with are so kind and understanding.
