My friend is a labor & delivery nurse and recommended Dr. Johnsen for my baggy eyelids. I was able have a free consultation and he walked me through every part of the procedure. He uses a laser so there are no scars and no stitches. I even had the option of doing in his office under local anesthesia but I declined and opted to be put completely under. My recovery was minimal if anything and 8 months later I'm still thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!
Dr. Johnsen came highly recommended as the best blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) expert in the area. I had several friends who had procedures and they all recommended him. He has done thousands of these so I felt safe and reassured. His procedures is bladeless and sutureless so there was less downtime and a quicker recovery. My eyes look bigger and my overall appearance is younger. I love the results!
I've been going through literal hell for the past 3-4 months with WAVE. Legitimate patient care does not exist at this establishment. My life has been turned upside-down by a botched surgery, everyone at WAVE, and Dr. Johnsen (who disappeared and abandoned all of his patients). PS, I was lied to by their consultant Candy who told me he was a board certified plastic surgeon when in fact he's just an ophthalmologist. I have burn scars/dents around my eyes that not even makeup can cover up. Scheduling and communication is a mess. Dr. Peter Lee literally has zero remorse when it actually comes down to taking action to making anything better if you get screwed over physically, financially, and emotionally. I wonder if he would be able to stay as calm and reasonable as I did if this were to have happened to anyone in his family. I will be posting a link to my entire experience but in the meantime, I strongly urge you to not give them your business. It's not worth it.
Latisse is an excellent product for darkening and legthening your lashes. It is not FDA approved for the eyebrows. However, it uses the same mechanism in the eyebrows as the eyelashes. Therefore the results are similar to those in the eyelashes. The risks are similar, but some are probable less because of the distance from the iris and the brow, the thickness of the skin in the brow, etc. Good Luck!
