Julio Saldana, MD

I had a breast lift (with tissue transfer) done with Dr. Saldana in December 2021. I live in the US and was concerned about having surgery outside of the US. I was referred to Dr. Saldana by another physician, so my mind was put at ease. Dr. Saldana is an artist and genuinely cares that you have the best result possible. I am extremely happy with the results. If you need compression garments, buy them in the US yourself, otherwise the nurse will have to guess your size. Dr. Saldana speaks perfect English, as does his office manager/receptionist, Claudia. In addition to being a great sculptor, what makes Dr. Saldana different from other doctors in Tijuana, is that he has his own surgical suite (instead of having to use hospital nursing staff). This way Dr. Saldana can control the nursing staff and your post-surgery recovery time. This is a very important point. If you are thinking about having surgery in Mexico, go with Dr. Saldana.

my experience was excellent I have done my breast implant and looks natural and feel natural and he did two of my friends the work he did was amazing.....!!! I will recommend Dr. Saldana he is a very good surgeon my friends looking very nice.....!!

This Dr reconstructed my botched breast surgery and completely performed a miracle. I can not begin to express how amazing this surgeons skills are. I had a prior surgery which had ruptured the scar tissue sack around the implant and that procedure was botched when performed hastily by a Dr who has since died which left me with a deformed right breast. I lived like that for four years until I found Dr Saldaña. The work he did on my reconstruction was incredible and just highly knowledgeable staff was excellent , patient and very competent. A year later my scars are almost completely gone and my breasts look Amazing.

I had my first surgery in August of 2008, I had a tummy tuck with lipo, chin lipo, bichetomy and fat a Brazilian butt lift. Julio and his staff were super professional and answered all my questions and most importantly they made me feel like home. I loved my results. I went back in January of 2017 for a lipo and a retouch on my butt and I couldn't be any happier!!! he changed my life. He is amazing!!!

Dr. Saldana was wonderful ( as was most of his staff). Because I have an extensive medical background myself, I was taken back by how differently the practices between MX and the States were. Some seemed appalling, but others within reason.
My biggest challenge was the language barrier. The doctor and anesthesiologist both spoke impeccable English ( thank goodness!!) But not all of his caretaker ( which is fair since it's their country! Lol ).
If you're having to spend the night at the aftercare facility, I suggest you brush up on your Spanish. That reason in itself made that portion of my recovery fairly horrible due to the extent of work I underwent. My anxiety shot the roof!( you can ask specifics if you're interested).
Otherwise, the facility was clean and more modern than I thought it would be and the staff were welcoming..

Posted is my tummy before surgery, at 3 months and ( in my bathing suit) my one year anniversary pic. Unfortunately, I ended up with a ruptured implant, so I recently had them exchanged ( with a slightly smaller size- 485cc), but they pretty much look the same way as when Dr. Saldana replaced them.
I ended up using a fantastic surgeon local to me, and am really happy with my results.
My tummy tuck was a bigger procedure than I realized it would be, but it was well worth the travel and think he's great!

I was nervous about going to Mexico for a surgery until I got referred to the best I could ever ask for! Dr. Saldaña and his team work hard to make it a enjoyable experience. I immediately felt comfortable and I’m already planning trips for my friends to get things done lol. Great price. Great Work. Anyone who goes, don’t use the Pharmacy right next to Medica Norte (they are over priced and I paid too much for my meds). Also no narcotics (bring your own meds if you can). I went from a B to a D.. 470cc in both

I have a lot more confidence & love my boobs. Only down side is not fitting in any of old shirts bc I’m too booby lol (not complaining)

Still numb n some areas (totally normal). I can’t wear a underlined bra without it being uncomfortable. My scars are barely there! I’m pretty symmetrical from the start. Love the size I went. I don’t regret a thing!
