Procedure: B/L breast lift with silicone implant exchange; full tummy tuck with muscle plication due to diastasis recti; hernia repair. Pros: Surgeon is very friendly and will answer all of your questions. She also has a cosmetic spa in the same office and includes scar treatment for afterwards. Cons: You don’t know what you don’t know; meaning you need to do all of your own research about pre-op, peri-op, and post-op expectations ahead of any consultations and/or appts so you can ask the appropriate questions. Patient education/expectations is not a strength of this office. Also, there is a high turnover there, which may be part of that problem. I found it useful to visit other plastic surgeons’ websites for my information and then double check with her. But I did feel under prepared for my surgery; and that could have easily been avoided.
