QUESTIONS ANSWERED

It's the 4th day after botox, my lines are visible and my crowfeet are also there. Will my forehead improve?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Don't worry, you need a good 2 weeks to see the full results of your Botox treament. If you're still unhappy once that timeframe has passed, I'd recommend following up with your dermatologist to reevaluate and make sure you're happy with your results.

The corners of my mouth turn down. Will Botox help with this or is there another non surgical treatment which will help?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
We correct downturned corners of the mouth with filler and have great results. This procedure really makes a huge difference in overall appearance, and often we have a good amount of product left to correct other lines in the face.

Cheek Tightening for 23 year old? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Clear + Brilliant is a laser that is by far the best option for minimizing pore size. It's perfect for younger skin, and those with deeper skin tones as it is a skin tone neutral laser. The laser makes small micro-holes in the skin, allowing it to heal and resurface. We recommend 5 treatments total, 2 weeks apart, for best results. You can see exactly how the treatment is performed below in our YouTube video.

Is there a way to shrink pores or remove them entirely?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
The best treatment for improving the look of pores is the Clear + Brilliant laser. Often called "baby Fraxel", this laser makes small microinjuries in the skin, causing the skin to heal, thus improving the tone and texture of the skin. Retin A used topically can also help the look of pores.

I can't have Botox, Dysport or Xeomon due to bad reaction. Need options!

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Ulthera can be a great, and more permanent alternative to the neurotoxins (botox, dysport, etc). It is a non-invasive procedure that uses ultrasound energy to tighten and lift the skin on the face and neck. Many women prefer it to neurotoxin because it lasts several years.

Concerned about hollowing under eyes, what is best to treat my Hollowing? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
The most effective and immediate results driven procedure is the use of dermal fillers to correct under-eye hallows.  I have found that BELOTERO BALANCE® Dermal Filler is a highly effective treatment.  It can be layered to fill in the deep grooves, minimizing the dark circles and deep crease.  Treatment will last about 8 months.  Depending on severity of hallows, two syringes of filler is usually necessary to fully correct.

What is the best non invasive treatment for inner thighs? I have muscular legs however hold onto fat in my inner thigh.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
  • CoolSculpting is a non-invasive, clinically proven procedure to selectively reduce fat layers in problem areas using a patented cooling technology. It is a safe procedure cleared by the FDA that gently cools unwanted fat cells in the body to induce a natural, controlled elimination of fat cells. Perfect for diet and exercise resistant, stubborn fat.
  • On average, each CoolSculpting Procedure results in a 20% reduction of fat in the treated areas.  I suggest having a CoolSculpting consult, to see if you are a good candidate.

Would laser or peel be safer and more effective for Asian skin for pore reduction, refinining, and reducing light wrinkles?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
  • Clear + Brilliant Laser Skincare is a unique, fractional laser that addresses and helps prevent early signs of aging for both men and women of all skin types. The Clear + Brilliant technology is the perfect way to address skin concerns without resorting to more aggressive laser resurfacing treatments. Clear + Brilliant is gentle yet effective and has been proven to improve skin tone, texture and minimize pore size. It is also “skin tone neutral”, safe for all skin types.   I suggest my patients to do a series of 5 sessions, in two week intervals.  Once series of 5 is completed, the patient can do one or two sessions a year as maintenance.

How long does the acne fraxel laser treatment last?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Fractional laser (Fraxel) treatments are permanent, as long as the patient does not develop any new scars due to active acne.

The laser itself actually creates small micro-injuries to the skin and the deeper collagen layer, promoting new skin and collagen growth, leaving you with resurfaced, beautiful skin.

Probably Not Worth It Unless You Only Have a Few Well-defined Dimples - New York, NY

I went to a high-end doc in NYC known for doing this procedure, but I would say overall it wasn't worth it. First, the areas still look bumpy and I am especially disappointed that the dimples that show when I wear shorts are still there (the pictures below are from now, 4 months later). Second, it was painful. Third, I still have discoloration from the bruises, months later.

CoolSculpting Does Work on a 44 Year Old After Having Two Kids! - Little York, NY

I work out 3-4 times a week but I could not get rid of this pouch in my mid-section. I tried CoolSculpting for my abs and flanks and it works. The procedure is not painful, it is cold and slightly uncomfortable at first but the uncomfortably goes away. You sit there for one hour and read a book or watch TV. There may be redness and some swelling and bruising but it goes away within a couple of days. You will see the fat around the mid-section slowly disappear. It will take about 3 months to see the max results. It is not cheap though $1200 for each side. I am very happy with the results and will go back to do other areas like bra/back fat.

Don't Waste Your Money

I will keep this short. I had cellfina with Dr. Russack in July 20 and basically my buttocks is still full of cellulite. It was a waste of money! Out of the 15 dimples maybe 35 percent were treated but now almost a year later those dimples have returned. Cellfina is not the cure to cellulite. After I went back to my doctor she made some excuse that the dimples on my lower buttocks couldn't be treated cause it would cause a sagging buttocks which I never heard before. What is the point of a cellulite treatment that can't target the main area of the problem? I don't know if cellfina or my doctor is to blame but basically I threw my money out the window with this procedure. I wouldn't recommend the procedure nor the doctor.

Ultherapy Treatment in My Lower Face and Upper Neck Area

I had Ultherapy in the lower half of my face and upper neck area. I had some discomfort, a little more on one side then the other which I heard is common. Within three months I did notice tightening in the treated area. I do think the experience was worth it as I did see some good results. I also really enjoyed Dr. Russak in New York City She was really nice and informative.
