I went to a high-end doc in NYC known for doing this procedure, but I would say overall it wasn't worth it. First, the areas still look bumpy and I am especially disappointed that the dimples that show when I wear shorts are still there (the pictures below are from now, 4 months later). Second, it was painful. Third, I still have discoloration from the bruises, months later.
I work out 3-4 times a week but I could not get rid of this pouch in my mid-section. I tried CoolSculpting for my abs and flanks and it works. The procedure is not painful, it is cold and slightly uncomfortable at first but the uncomfortably goes away. You sit there for one hour and read a book or watch TV. There may be redness and some swelling and bruising but it goes away within a couple of days. You will see the fat around the mid-section slowly disappear. It will take about 3 months to see the max results. It is not cheap though $1200 for each side. I am very happy with the results and will go back to do other areas like bra/back fat.
I will keep this short. I had cellfina with Dr. Russack in July 20 and basically my buttocks is still full of cellulite. It was a waste of money! Out of the 15 dimples maybe 35 percent were treated but now almost a year later those dimples have returned. Cellfina is not the cure to cellulite. After I went back to my doctor she made some excuse that the dimples on my lower buttocks couldn't be treated cause it would cause a sagging buttocks which I never heard before. What is the point of a cellulite treatment that can't target the main area of the problem? I don't know if cellfina or my doctor is to blame but basically I threw my money out the window with this procedure. I wouldn't recommend the procedure nor the doctor.
I had Ultherapy in the lower half of my face and upper neck area. I had some discomfort, a little more on one side then the other which I heard is common. Within three months I did notice tightening in the treated area. I do think the experience was worth it as I did see some good results. I also really enjoyed Dr. Russak in New York City She was really nice and informative.
Don't worry, you need a good 2 weeks to see the full results of your Botox treament. If you're still unhappy once that timeframe has passed, I'd recommend following up with your dermatologist to reevaluate and make sure you're happy with your results.
We correct downturned corners of the mouth with filler and have great results. This procedure really makes a huge difference in overall appearance, and often we have a good amount of product left to correct other lines in the face.
Clear + Brilliant is a laser that is by far the best option for minimizing pore size. It's perfect for younger skin, and those with deeper skin tones as it is a skin tone neutral laser. The laser makes small micro-holes in the skin, allowing it to heal and resurface. We recommend 5 treatments total, 2 weeks apart, for best results. You can see exactly how the treatment is performed below in our YouTube video.
The best treatment for improving the look of pores is the Clear + Brilliant laser. Often called "baby Fraxel", this laser makes small microinjuries in the skin, causing the skin to heal, thus improving the tone and texture of the skin. Retin A used topically can also help the look of pores.
Ulthera can be a great, and more permanent alternative to the neurotoxins (botox, dysport, etc). It is a non-invasive procedure that uses ultrasound energy to tighten and lift the skin on the face and neck. Many women prefer it to neurotoxin because it lasts several years.
