I really haven’t been happy with my stomach for most of my adult life. After 4 children, 2 c-sections and about 40lbs of weight loss my stomach was a bit of a mess. I saw Dr. Jensen about 2 years ago and discussed a tummy tuck. Due to traveling a lot with my job it really wasn’t a good time. Fast forward to 2021 I’m now working remote as most of us are and couldn’t think of a better opportunity to take advantage of having my procedure done. After having a couple of consults with Some plastic surgeons in my area I went back to Dr. Jensen. Dr. Jensen is a general surgeon whom has done multiple tummy tucks. He provided me with hundreds of patient before and after photos. Listened to all of my concerns and gave me a realistic outcome of what to expect. I decided he was my best option. I had my surgery on the 12th of March. As of today I’m 13 days post op and very happy with my results. Updated on 2 Apr 2021: My doc removed the stitches from my belly button. He did an ultrasound on my stomach to see if I had any residual fluid since he removed my last drain a week ago. I did have two pockets of fluid that he aspirated. To be honest I was freaking out thinking about a syringe in my stomach, but honestly I’m still so numb I don’t feel anything. He said that often times these pockets of fluid can resolve themselves but there’s a chance that scare tissue can form around these pockets and cause hard balls under the skin. I’ve posted a couple post op pics. One is the day after my procedure and the other is a photo I took 2 weeks post op, after I’d removed my steri strips. I’ll take someone pics tomorrow and add them. I’m still a little swollen, but I’m so happy with my results this far.
