I am not sure exactly what you are asking. A c-section does not usually weaken the muscle that much. The repair of the muscles we plastic surgeons do during an abdominoplasty is done mostly to narrow the waist line. There may be some strenthening because the muscles are more centralized after the repair, but that is not the main reason it is done. In any event, certainly both the abdominoplasty and muscle tightening is often done at the same time. Exercise does not narrow the waist line when the muscles have been separated from weight gain or pregnancy. A surgical repair is very effective if you are not very heavy. Good luck.
Sure. You look like an excellent candidate for an abdominoplasty, with liposuction. The breasts can be lifted or augmented at the same time, depending on your preferences and your examination. Good luck.
The fact that you have fibrocystic disease does not mean you cannot have a breast augmentation. And you are right that breast size can be more symmetrical by putting a somewhat larger implant on the smaller side. But do not expect perfection or exact symmetry. Usually a plastic surgeon would not remove a cyst at the time of the implants and there is no technique to remove all the cysts or prevent new ones. Lastly, because of the scars, I would not recommend an uplift if the augmentation alone can make them look more raised. Stretch marks will not be improved. As always, in your specific case, discuss all of your concerns with your plastic surgeon.
I agree with Dr. Pousti. That being said, it is my opinion that the complication rate is somewhat higher with the higher size, so if you are not sure, generally go smaller to be safe. But this really requires a thorough discussion with your plastic surgeon, and cannot be determined on-line in any circumstance.
I agree with the previous comments, but I would like to add a few things. First, the scars would not have to go all around the areola (the pigmented part around the nipple which you feel is too oblong). It only has to be where skin would be removed to round it out. Second, despite the comment about scars being variable, which is true, it is still more than likely that you would be very happy with this procedure. If you are ok with the scar from the augmentation, and if your surgeon does a good correction of this, I think you will feel it was definitly worth it. All surgery has risks, but with this procedure the risks are low. Despite careful measuring, the result may not be perfectly circular--for several reasons. Lastly, this is a relatively simple operation, and can be easily performed in the office without sedation, if your surgeon is gentle. It shouldn't cost very much, somewhere in the range of $1,000-$2000 would be reasonable, in my opinion. If it bothers you and you can afford it, I would encourage you to do it. Good luck.
