Yes.  The Geneveve procedure will help reduce or eliminate symptoms of urinary stress incontinence.  The procedure will need to be done yearly to maintain it’s benefit.  It is a painless office procedure that take ~ 45 minutes to perform.  There is no down time.  

You will also see the other benefits including vaginal lubrication, increased vaginal tone, and better sexual function.

We use a procedure called Geneveve by Viveve.  It is a 30 minute painless office procedure which really does a great job with increasing vaginal tone and lubrication resulting in more sensitivity with intercourse.  It also does a great job treating patients with urinary incontinence.  Studies have shown that just one treatment lasts over a year in 90% of patients.  It is performed by one of our female staff members.  

The cost for the first treatment is $2500.  Any follow up procedures cost $1000.  

You should not have the Geneveve procedure while breastfeeding.  I would wait at least 2 months after completion of breast feeding prior to scheduling Geneveve.

While breast feeding, your estrogen levels are lower which contributes to vaginal dryness.  Once you have completed breast feeding, the vaginal mucosa will return to normal estrogen status therefore making the Geneveve procedure more effective.

We use a procedure called Geneveve for non surgical vaginal rejuvenation.  It is a 30 minute painless office procedure which helps with vaginal lubrication, tone, and bladder function. Results tend to last at least a year after one procedure.

We also looked at ThermiVa before buying our Geneveve machine.  ThermiVa requires 3 treatments and yes, the results do not last as long as u would expect.

Mild pelvic relaxation will not cause lower back or abdominal pain. 

 Keep in mind there are surgical risks with any procedure.  A traditional vaginal repair performed without mesh can tighten the vagina but the procedure can also shorten the vagina.  This could lead to pain with intercourse.  Also, recurrence of pelvic prolapse a few years after the surgery is common.
