Dr. Brown is my plastic Surgeon. I did my BA surgery end of August and went 5 weeks post surgery check today. Dr. chose for me 365cc both side of my breast, the overall outcome is more than I expected! (the scar is minimal as well) All my family and friends tell me that my breast look super natural!!!!! Thank you Dr. your amazing work, and all the employees at the office. A highly recommend!
Having Dr.Brown perform my breast augmentation is hands down one of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made! My results are even better than I could have imagined! I would highly recommend Dr.Brown and his staff to anyone as they made every step along the way so easy, taking all of my questions and concerns into consideration, as well as thoroughly explaining the procedure and what to expect after. A little back story, I’ve always wanted a breast augmentation as I always felt my chest wasn’t proportionate to the rest of my body. Then after having two children in which I breastfed, I’d felt even more insecure about my breasts and was really looking forward to getting the procedure. My now husband and I were finally planning our wedding and decided we were done having children, so we figured it was time to move forward with the breast augmentation. Now fast forward a few months after surgery, we had our wedding! I felt so confident and beautiful in my dress. The hubby was in awe and I will never forget the way that he looked at me. I hadn’t let him see the new hardware as I was saving the big reveal for the honeymoon! Let’s just say he thought Dr.Brown’s work was amazing too as we now have a third child on the way lol We shared the news with Dr.Brown. He was overjoyed for us! (seriously one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I’ve ever met) After congratulating us, he went into detail regarding what to expect being pregnant and breastfeeding with implants leaving me assured that the baby will be just fine if I choose to breastfeed again and confident that I’ll still be over the moon about my breasts after having the baby!
My experience with Dr. Brown and his staff was phenomenal. I had surgery in March for implant removal and reconstruction. The results are beautiful and the healing process has been smooth. I am 65 years old and feel like a better, younger version of myself! I look forward to aging better under his and his staff's care.
Dr Brown and his team was incredible from start to finish. Dr Brown took his time to make me feel comfortable and listened to what i wanted to achieve. I was never rushed or embarrassed and he made me feel confident i would get the results i wanted. On the day of the operation he was kind and sensitive and i felt relaxed with the entire team that dealt with the surgery. Afterwards, Dr Brown and his team took time to answer my questions and made sure that my recovery was seamless. It was a big op as i had four different things done at once and recovery wasn't easy but i was prepared for this and the team made it as easy as it possibly could have been. The results are outstanding and i don't think i could have achieved any better. I would recommend Dr Brown and his team in a heartbeat. thank you guys!
My story moved along pretty quick. A cancer diagnosis with cancer, diagnosed BRCA2 positive, double mastectomy scheduled the day before my Friday the 13th birthday. Dr Brown's amazing bedside manner keep me going when I wanted to recoil. Each step got me to a better place. A more normal, beautiful me place. Dr. Brown's dedication to get a person where they want and need to be, is what every patient deserves.
I have recently been a patient of Dr. Brown and he is such a compassionate and professional doctor. He listens and makes you feel like you are family. He has taken great care of me before, during and after my procedure. The first time I saw myself in a full length mirror I got goose bumps and I just wanted to cry with happiness. I have never seen my body look so beautiful. For years I suffered with stretch marks and lower fat belly, no exercise or diet would ever take it away. Then Dr. Brown came into my life through a friend of mine and made me feel beautiful and just changed my life. Thank you Dr. Brown and I also want to thank his assistant Cynthia for also being so caring, compassionate and friendly. I also felt among family with them. I would give 10 stars.
This review is WAY overdue! I have known Dr Brown for many years and can say he is absolutely one of the most amazing surgeons I know. It is VERY rare to find a surgeon with his skill set AND compassion for what he does. From the first day I meet him, I was moved by the story he had told me of how and why he became a plastic surgeon. He is very meticulous when it comes to his technique. My husband is in the medical field and agrees, Dr Brown is "hands down" one of the best in the industry. When I had my breast lift he took out 420cc of implants and recommended 295cc, which I thought was going to be too small, but the results were impeccable! He knows exactly what to recommend and I trust him 100%, I couldn't be happier. Updated on 24 Jun 2020: This review is WAY overdue! Dr. Joseph Brown is the plastic surgeon who performed all phases of my breast reconstruction. He was a critical part of my breast cancer treatment team. My two successful surgeries included a skin-sparing double mastectomy with tissue expander placements and a later surgery to replace the tissue expanders with breast implants. I benefitted from the important choice of Dr. Brown and my breast surgeon to do a skin-sparing mastectomy. The beauty of this procedure is that it is performed when breast reconstruction begins during the same surgery that removes the breast cancer. The team of these two breast surgeons shared the operating table during my first surgery. The results of this surgery and the one that followed were fabulous! The scars are fading away, and my breasts look completely natural. Dr. Brown is a skillful surgeon, who is meticulous and knowledgeable. However, what sets Dr. Brown far above the rest is his “bedside manner.” He puts the emotional needs and physical health of his patients first. Dr. Brown truly treats the whole patient. He is one of the kindest people I know. If you are fortunate enough to have Dr. Brown as your plastic surgeon...relax. You will be well, and you will feel beautiful again!
I had a tummy tuck done many years ago that left me with significant fat pouch above my vaginal area. Dr. Brown recommended a monsplasty and mini tummy tuck. After surgery (by Dr. Brown) I look normal and feel amazing! I no longer feel abnormal. I can't believe the confidence that the surgical results have given me - even though no one knows about it but me! Dr. Brown and his staff are compassionate, professional, and work to make sure that the results are nothing less than what you want. Beyond surgical skill is artistry - I look normal, not 'plastic'. My scar is thin. I am balanced proportionally. The entire process was so positive!!!
The short version of this is, if you need or want any kind of plastic surgery, check out TAPS, even if just for a consultation. You will not be sorry. The longer version is my husband and I were referred to TAPS by my breast surgery to discuss reconstruction following bilateral mastectomy. We could not be more grateful for this introduction. The TAPS staff set the tone from the beginning. On the initial visit we felt comfortable, well cared for and left fully informed regarding what was ahead. Dr. Brown took his time to answer all our questions and we left with confidence, which when you are facing losing your breasts, is huge. Dr. Brown and his staff maintained this level of care throughout the entire process. Dr. Brown has mad skills. Not only does he have the bedside manner and personality you want in doctor, he can actually deliver. I was apprehensive about how I would look with reconstructed breasts and I know no result is perfect but Dr. Brown came pretty close. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the results. We are on the other side of this process and in looking back Dr. Brown and TAPS made such a difference. We will be forever grateful.
Hello,A physical exam is necessary to decide on whether or not you're a candidate for a lift alone or breast augmentation alone. If your nipples are above your inframammary fold then you will likely not require a lift. If your nipples are at or very slightly below your inframammary fold, you may benefit from a lift or a particular technique with breast augmentation called a type 2 or a type 3 dual plane breast augmentation. You'll need a in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to get to a final decision. You may want to consider obtaining several consults with different plastic surgeons and see if you click with one that understands your goals and has a plan that makes the most sense to you.Good luck!
Hi Lizzie,Thank you for your question and your photos to help clarify things. The answer to this question would be based on information that would be obtained with a physical exam. Your height and the distance between your sternal notch (where your collar bones come towards each other at the top of your sternum) and your nipples would determine whether or not a lift is necessary. Your breast creases, or inframammary folds, appear to be relatively high compared to the "footprint" of your breast mound on your chest wall. This could be improved with implants alone, potentially. Special techniques would need to be used that would potentially thin out the lower pole of your breast tissue in order for it to expand. You may consider doing this first, then consider a lift after the fact if you are not happy with an implant alone. If the distance between your sternal notch and nipples is long, then you would be more likely to benefit from a lift out of the gate. Just make sure that you meet with a board certified PLASTIC surgeon.I hope this is helpful. Best wishes.
Hello Shailay! Thank you for the photos to help clarify your questions. Your nipple piercings will not compromise your result after breast augmentation. Due to the instruments we use during surgery, they will have to be temporarily removed for surgery but can be replaced after. Your goal of a full B cup is perfect for your body type and will look beautiful. Modern implant technology combined with meticulous surgical technique allows us to achieve very specific results for you. Just make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who listens to you and can articulate your own goals back to you after your conversation. That way you know you've been heard and you're on the same page as your plastic surgeon.I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
If you are truly unhappy, then 6 months may be enough time to have waited before getting implants. Typically, it is safe to perform a breast augmentation about 3 months after a breast lift, if this is the original plan. If you underwent fat grafting in the hopes of avoiding an implant, I would recommend that you wait 6-12 months. Your results can continue to change over the course of a year and you don't want to try to "hit a moving target" by operating too soon. That being said, it is difficult to make a blanket statement without a photo. If there is a huge disparity between where you are now and where you would like to be, then you could consider surgery earlier. Just make sure to meet with a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery that will listen to your concerns.
Hello, Based on your photographs and the images you've provided, a Brazilian butt lift would create a beautiful contour in your lower torso. The key is to truly sculpt the lower back and torso, which creates the majority of the curves. Then, the removed fat is processed and a SELECT volume is strategically placed into regions of the buttocks that would benefit from some enhancement. Be weary of very large volume fat transfers, as this can be a dangerous operation if not performed safely and judiciously. When safety measures are abided by and when these principles are applied, the results can be fantastic! The timing you have in mind seems very appropriate. Good luck!
