I have been to many Dermatologists and this office was the first one where I truly felt like I could get my questions answered and get the help I needed. The staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Zuckerman took his time and put my mind at ease. He answered all my questions about my skin conditions and his treatments really worked! I have recommended Dr. Zuckerman to my friends and family and they have all been happy with the excellent care they were given. I have had Botox and Xeomin with Dr. Zuckerman and the results were nothing short of fantastic! He has a very gentle touch. No discomfort at all. So lucky to have found him!
My acne scars have bothered me for most of my adult life. I was always scared to do anything for them. I went to Dr. Zuckerman for some unrelated dermatology issues. He really put me at ease, and was so informative and friendly that I thought I would ask him about any techniques to improve my acne scars. He recommended the Mixtu Laser for what I had. The procedure was not painful, and and I was back to work 5 days later. It's now been one month since the procedure, and I couldn't be happier. My acne scars have improved tremendously. I have a lot more confidence now. Thank you Dr. Zuckerman for your great work!
I was a little scared to have fillers done for the first time, but Dr. Zuckerman put me at ease right away. He told me all about what to expect from having Restylane injections done, and really spent a lot of time answering my questions. It really didn't hurt at all. Dr. Zuckerman has a real gentle touch. When he was finished, he handed me the mirror, and I couldn't believe the difference! Definitely worth it! I really look younger, and my friends noticed a look a lot better too. I will definitely go back to see Dr. Zuckerman for more injections in the future. He was great!
I've seen Dr. Zuckerman for help with various skin problems for the last two years. He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and really takes his time to make sure all my questions are answered. His office staff is also very helpful and friendly. I recently tried Botox with Dr. Zuckerman for the first time, and the results I got were amazing! I am so pleased. Would recommend him highly!
If you feel you need to take an analgesic (medicine for pain) after a Botox procedure, taking Acetaminophen would be okay to do. Unlike salicylic acid or Aspirin, which can "thin" the blood and promote bleeding/bruising/swelling, Acetaminophen does not "thin" the blood, and will therefore NOT promote bruising or swelling. As I'm sure you know, do not take more Acetaminophen than the dosage guidelines listed on the bottle based on your age. If the reason you feel you need to take Acetaminophen is b/o discomfort form the Botox procedure, it would be a good thing to call your doctor and let him know what you are feeling, so he is aware of this. I hope this information helps!
Don't worry! Based upon the history you provided, I believe everything will be fine. You should understand that there are two main ways to remove moles: the "shave" procedure, and the excision procedure, which is done with stitches. With the excision-stitch procedure, the mole should not come back, but you will be left with a line of stitches after, which will leave you with (usually) a linear scar. The "shave" procedure often gives a better cosmetic result and leaves less of a "footprint" behind. But there's always the risk with the "shave" technique that some of the mole cells may reside under the area that was "shaved" off, which can then lead to a recurrence of the mole if/when these cells start to regrow. The most important thing you mentioned is that the biopsy came back benign. As long as it was read by a dermatopathologist, I would take a deep breath, wait for your appointment in three weeks, and let your dermatologist assure you that everything is fine. Hope this helps!
