Stretching of skin is not a known side effect for botox. It weakens the muscles and reduces skin wrinkles which may visually look like mild stretching of the skin.&nbsp;

If I have Botox injections on my face will it stretch my skin?

I would typically inject the medial forehead muscles and the muscles between the brows to obtain a more defined eyebrow arch.&nbsp;

Hello, I had my first dose of Botox whilst having lip filler and I said I would like a more arched eyebrow (lifted). I don't know how many units were Injected but I know it was very quick and only two tiny areas which I have highlighted in the picture. What kind of result can I expect? Is this the correct place? Will it have any effect on my brows? I'm only day 3 I feel like I have spent money when it may not do anything

Sorry that you are going through this. When the forehead muscles are injected with botox the muscles may weaken and lead to brow drop. I suspect the outside injections likely hit the frontalis muscles&nbsp;which lift the brows.&nbsp;The effects should have went away at about 3-4 months.&nbsp;

I went to a so called top facial plastic surgeon for Botox BROW LIFT, not DROP!!! I’m at 5/1/2 months . Got 30 units across the top of my brows . I’m in shock that a dr. Would do this. Have any of you drs. Ever seen injection sites such as these

If you are unhappy with the results after the swelling goes down you can have your injector use&nbsp;hyaluronidase to dissolve the product. The results are immediate. Good luck!

I had one syringe of juvéderm ultra plus placed in the upper and lower lip, but it appears as though the product was placed too high in my upper lip. I went back to my injector (a registered nurse with 20+ years of injecting experience) and she said the filler wasn’t placed too high, it’s just the way my lips look with filler. I’ve attached two photos of my lips now, and one photo before I had any filler in 2014.

It will take about 3 to 4 months before botox completely wears off. However, it should slowly wear off after about 4 weeks.

i had botox 13 days ago i had all over botox including bowlift, forhead, chin, 40units into masseters and also into the lip for 'lip flip'. why has my smile completely changed? will it take 4 months to wear off or sooner? thank-you.

Botox usually takes about 2 weeks before you see the full effects. If botox was only injected in the forehead muscles then, the skin over the eyes will hang down lower. The effects of botox last for about 3 months.&nbsp;

Botox was injected into forehead and 11 lines on Monday so about 4-5 days. Last night I noticed especially on one eye (the eyebrow that was lifted) the lid itself is heavy and hanging lower. I can open and close it fine but the skin is hanging down lower Will this get worse? Will it take the full 3 months to correct? I'm obviously very upset over this

Usually Juvederm&nbsp;fillers last anywhere from 9 months to 2 years. Per the manufacturing site, Juvederm &nbsp;Voluma lasts up to 2 years, Vollure XC 18 months, XC 1 year, and volbella 1 year. You may want to consider&nbsp;hyaluronidase injection by a licensed professional in order to dissolve left over filler. Hope this helps!

I was wondering because its almost 2 years and its not going away from my under my eyes, lips and in between my eyes. I look awful and would like it gone but cant get anyone to remove it. Please don't tell me to see him again because that isn't happening. He said its only juvaderm but I think it must be something else. All I want to know is what kind of filler would last this long? Is there a filler that is permanent?

This happens when botox is used in the forehead muscles (frontalis).&nbsp;The forehead muscles work to lift the eyebrows. When these muscles are weakened by botox then, the eyebrows droop over the eyelids. Another cause is the botox may have descended into the upper eyelid muscles that elevate the eyelid (levator palpebrae superioris)&nbsp;causing&nbsp;droopy eyelids. It should wear off in 3-4 months.&nbsp;

I’ve been getting Botox for my migraines every three months for almost a year and I stopped because I went to the dermatologist asking why are my eyelids sinking over my eyes more and they said if you use a certain amount of Botox it has the reverse effect of what you want. I’ve never had this problem before using Botox. I had very nice/smooth eyelids but now they are droopy. I just want to know if it will wear off eventually and I’ll be back to normal or is it permanent?

Yes, the muscles you are referring to are the trapezius muscles. They are the muscles that activate shoulder shrug and other shoulder movements.These muscles can be injected to relieve tension in the muscles.&nbsp;You may&nbsp;benefit from seeing a neurologist that performs trigger point injections. The muscles circled in red indicate problem muscles. They have always been very tight, caused pain, and always feel as hard as boulders. I can’t actually relax them enough to bring them down. Is it possible to inject Botox in or around these muscles to relax them? How much would it cost? And can anyone recommend themselves or someone they know who can help? I live in Atlanta but can take recommendations anywhere around East coast

Being that you had a negative response to Juvederm and Restalyne, I&nbsp;agree with the concerns of injecting another HA product. Not sure what Juvederm products you used previously but, common side effects are&nbsp;injection-site redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, discoloration, and itching usually lasting 30 days or less.&nbsp;

I had Voluma injected 8/16 into my cheeks. A month later I developed red swollen bumps. It took several sessions of Hyla to dissolve. In March 2017 I had Restalyne and a month later same reaction. More Hyla to dissolve. My dr is now refusing to inject anything anywhere. I had juvederm around my mouth and in my lip lines with no reaction. She’s still refusing to even to that stating with my history of fillers she’s “hesitant”. Any advice?
