Dr. Sonne has been doing my Botox injections for a few years now. You can trust him to help you look years younger! He knows exactly where and how much Botox you need to achieve optimal results for you. Dr. Sonne is patient and listens to your concerns. They have special promotional pricing at times also:) Updated on 22 Aug 2012: My goal was to relax the wrinkles around my eyes and the frown line in between my eyes on the forehead. I also had a line in my upper forehead. The injections were virtually painless after they applied some numbing cream to the injection sites. The results are amazing, raising my eyebrows a bit to give me a younger appearance. All lines are relaxed and gone within 3 days;) Dr. Sonne makes sure I don't have the "frozen" look and still have some natural movement in my face. Love the results!
I was unhappy with the results of past surgeries by a different doctor. Insurance covered most of this revision procedure.
I have always had a large nose and have been made of for it for as long as I can remember. It was something that always made me self conscious to the point that I would never let people see my profile and I would do anything to avoid getting attention drawn to myself. I had broken my nose twice when I was about 15 and got a deviated septum as a result. When I was 17 I started having breathing problems and decided to look into corrective surgery. I visited probably 3 or 4 doctors before I found the doctor I decided to go with and the experience was horrible. I was so nervous before my surgery (more for the needles than anything) but the hospital staff and my doctor did a fantastic job of helping me through everything. I went home two hours after my surgery and was in bed for about two days before I was able to be up and around. I had almost no swelling or bruising and didn't need any pain medication after the second day. The staff at the clinic and my doctor were phenomenal. I am so happy I made the decision I did, my confidence has never been better and I couldn't be happier with the results.
after my injection was botched by the assistant Liann, leaving me with a visible lump, the doctor told me to "rub it". He refused to correct it or to remove it and refund my money so I could go somewhere else. Extremely rude and shocking how he treats a patient. I have filed a complaint to the board (I have my doubts about the assistant's experience and/or certification) and plan to file suit.
Unfortunately, blood vessels can be stubborn. It is not uncommon that vessels need to be treated with lasers more than once to make them go away. Often, settings on the laser need to be increased to treat recurrent blood vessels more aggressively.
It is fine to keep your eyes closed while filler is being placed, in fact most people prefer it. In between injections, however, your physician may have you open your eyes to more accurately gauge filler placement. Just let your physician know you don't like needles and the syringe can be moved out of your field of vision.
Different surgeons will have different suggestions as to when it is appropriate to return to working out. For the first couple of days, patients should be applying ice to keep swelling and bruising to a minimum -- working out should be avoided during this time. After the first few days, most people can resume light work outs but strenuous cardio and lifting heavy weights should be avoided. After a week or so, most patients can do anything they feel comfortable doing.
A platysmaplasty can be performed in conjunction with a facelift or as a stand alone procedure. This procedure can also be performed under local anesthesia or in a surgery center under general anesthesia or IV sedation. Often tightening the platysma muscles is performed with neck liposuction, which can help tighten the skin of the neck.
A downturn at the corners of the mouth is a common problem and one that tends to make people look sad. This issue has a couple of causes. Mostly it stems from the formation of marionette lines. Sometimes the muscles of the corner of the mouth can play a roll, as well. A filler can treatl the marionette lines and, when place appropriately, can redirect the corner of the mouth upwards. Botox can also be used to treat a muscular component to this problem.
