I was suffering from breathing issues caused by a deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, and nasal valve collapse. Multiple ENTs recommended a facial plastic surgeon, due to the nasal valve collapse part of the surgery. Dr. Pepper came highly recommended and agreed to perform the surgery along with his colleague Dr. Peter Hwang who performed the turbinate reduction part of the surgery. The recovery part of the process was rough for the first 5 days or so, but after a couple of months in it was totally worth it! My breathing has been improved immensely and no longer am experiencing any congestion issues after the surgery. Couldn’t recommend Dr. Pepper and his colleague Dr. Hwang highly enough, they both were great and I’m benefiting tremendously from their expertise!

I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Pepper, after a brain tumor destroyed my left facial nerve. His work to restore movement in my face, has given me so much hope. I have had two facial surgeries over the past two years due to basal cell carcinoma that has reoccured. He showed me the before and after pictures of other surgeries to give me confidence that I would show little sign of the repair after MOHS surgery. The MOHS surgery each time was more extensive than my MOHS surgeon thought it would be. I was sure, each time, that he would have to take transplants of skin for my facial repair. He took time to reconnect the muscles around my mouth so I have full function. After surgery, when I was back in public, I had friends ask if I had had my surgery yet and I have to show them what my wound looked like after MOHS. I get jaw drops. My dermatologist and general practitioner have both expressed their amazement at the quality of his work. Whether it has been two years or three months between appointments, our conversations continue as if we haven't seen each other for a couple of days. I'm a biologist and come from a family of doctors and I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Pepper. His staff has always been very polite and very professional. Additionally, his intern is very personable and very professional also.

Dr. Pepper is absolutely one of the sweetest, most empathetic and brightest doctors I have encountered at Stanford. I was referred to him by a dermatologist in Redwood City, by the name of Dr. Gail Jacoby. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. He did surgery on my nose to remove the cancer. He did an outstanding job. I liked him so much, that I sought treatment for hair loss from him. I have had approximately three treatments. I am happy to say that my hair is coming back. The procedure can be quite uncomfortable. As a result, he makes sure that I am as comfortable as possible. I will continue to seek treatment by him for any other needs that I might have.

Dr. Pepper performed a septoplasty on me and did an amazing job. My breathing has improved dramatically since this procedure. He took the time to understand my condition and explain my options for treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Pepper for any nasal procedures.

Dr. Pepper was very kind and helped me understand the surgery. I had a serious infection in the bridge of my nose. The procedure lasted a few hours. The surgery was a success and I am very happy with the results.

Dr. Pepper reconstructed my left nostril following removal of a carcinoma. He was pleasant and professional, and his surgery so fine that it's apparent the surgical site soon won't even be noticeable. He never appeared to be in a hurry, and took time to explain the necessary issues both pre-op and post-op. The staff ran the office like clockwork, and were wonderfully responsive to my queries. I feel blessed to have Dr. Pepper as my surgeon.
