Don't be discouraged, but I had to have this procedure done TWICE, to get results. Luckily, I had the best surgeon who was very supportive. My initial surgery was at the beginning of March, and then I had it redone on May 18. She did such an amazing job this time...I say that because I immediately saw the results. i am very swollen and have to wear compression garments. Does any one have suggestions for what compression garments work best following abdominal lipo surgery?Updated on 22 May 2012:Sorry, I dont have my pics, but i didnt take them myself. Im post op day 4 and Im pretty swollen and havent needed any pain meds during the day. I only take pain meds before I go to bed to get the best sleep. I wear spanx all day long with a compression garment on top. Im willing to answer questions...and yes I can already see about 2 inches gone from my waist even with all the swelling. The drainage stopped about day 2.
