I had breast reconstruction surgery through Dr. Fisher's office 4 months ago and let me tell you, it was the best decision I could have made. I had lost many lbs. over the last 2 years especially where I did Not want to lose, so I went for a consultation (I know several other people who have used Dr. Fisher's many services in the last few years and are very happy with the outcome). Everyone in the office were nothing but kind and professional. Yes, day 1 after surgery was tough, but I've had nothing but excellent care since. Dr. Fisher and his team called me multiple times just to check on me ( didn't matter if it was weekend, night time or a Holiday). I appreciated that more than they knew. I had shopped around and let me tell you he is worth every $$
I have been going to Dr. Fisher for 5 years or more. I have had several procedures done from mole removal to breast augmentation and tummy tuck. I have always been more than satisfied and have recommended him to friends and family, who also have had procedures done by him. He and his staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. All work is done in his private surgery center, no need to go to, or pay for, outside facilities or staff... this makes it private, convenient, and keeps the cost very reasonable!!
Prior to surgery I was about a 34B with uneven breasts and lots of extra unwanted breast tissue under my armpit. I work at a sports bar so many of my coworkers had already had the procedure so I was lucky to have so many girls to get advice from. I ended up choosing the 380-450cc hp saline implants and lipo under the armpit. Updated on 14 Apr 2016: This is 4 days post op of my breast augmentation. I went 400 & 450 cc saline. Under the muscle. I'm wear an ace band to help them drop. Some bruising, hoping this will go away soon. My left boob was smaller pre-op so my left side is dropping slower, and healing slower (plus the bruising). My doctor told me it had to do with the shot during my surgery. I'm not sure whether I'll be a full C or D yet. I was about at 34 B before surgery. I'm hoping for a full C. I'm a little nervous they might be too big, and my back is already feeling the strain of the added weight. I was wanting to go 500cc initially, but realized i was having a case of boob greed and definitely glad I went with the 380-450's instead of 420-500's.
I had my kids young and my boobs got very big when I nursed them. This caused as my hubby would say flappy jacks.. This and the fact that they were just sad sad lil boobies kept me up many nights trying to fig out how I could come up with the money to get a new happy looking set lol I'm from Illinois it took me moving to Cali . After 3 yrs living here I finally found a dr I could afford . He only charged 3,000$ I luv'd them at first . I wanted them so bad I didn't go to any consults with anyone else. This was my first mistake , I had what they call a double bubble. They settled sooner than I thought they should. No one knew or ever asked me if they were fake . They were soft and very natural looking . I should've waited and had a lift . I wanted the firm and high look. Most woman want what I had. So I got a new set 10 yrs later. I was told it was gonna take time to get the result I wanted. I had a lift and muscle repair done. This made getting adjustables the perfect option for me. The adjustables give u the option to gradually get bigger till ur at the size u want . I had them filled to their max .Then slowly remove fluid till they feel a lil softer , but like I said I like the firm look and feel . My recovery was tough but I'd do it again. Adjustables were designed for woman with breast cancer. Because they stretch the skin and when they're at the desired size the port is removed or the implant is and replaces with a implant . I don't know why more woman haven't gone this rout . I know a lot of woman with implants that wish they'd gone bigger. With these u have that option:) I'm so happy with my results . They aren't perfect but we go in knowing this was a chance we take . I got to see my pics while on the surgery table the dr.had his work cut out for him. They can only do what they can do lol
I'm in the middle of recovery by 1 and a half weeks I felt so much better and could take care of myself yesterday I got the stitches out for now I have 200cc but I will be going anywhere up to 390cc (based on my opinion and liking) I am 108lbs 5'4 and even the 200cc looks great went from 32a now 32c Updated on 19 Mar 2015: So I said I would update and I am now got 100cc in left and 75cc in right breast (my right breast is smaller originally and will eventually look the same after a couple inflations) all together I have 300cc in left and 275cc saline in the right glad I get to do this a few times or until I really like what I see I am glad my cleavage is now closer together then it was previously with the 200cc saline implant in I am excited to see my final result but glad I get to have bigger breast I was kinda depressed with it being 200cc and small it was a "C cup" from a deflated 32a (starting out) I am wearing the wrap again to help the extra saline drop again faster and can't wait still waiting to see the final results before I decide to talk about the bottoming out on my right breast im sure he can see it and he hasn't said anything witch is weird to me.... Four more weeks and I will be getting another inflation of my implants hopefully we can do another 100-75cc want them to match so I will suggest doing my right boob first so next appointment 4/14/15 at 4pm Updated on 23 Mar 2015: Wanted to see what size my breast where/are tried on a 32D think that one fit me best don't want to buy any bras as I still need them to drop and the bandos I am wearing are comfy for the spring/summer time in cali Updated on 25 Mar 2015: 32D (full D) looks pretty good still can go bigger to my 350cc that is scheduled on April 14,2015
Im 20 y.o and made the decision to have a BA once I was done nursing my son for I had lost all tissue in my breast (mostly my right) which was over 3 years ago. I was always flat chested and had a appetite figure. I'm 5'3" and 110 lbs and while breast feeding I was measuring at a 32 full D. I was referred to Dr. Fisher through a friend of mine and once I went to my consultation I had my mind %110 made up. He made sure to thoroughly discuss all details including procedure, costs, post op care, pre op care, as well as my body measurements and much more. They allowed me to come back twice to try on different sized implants to be sure that what I was choosing was going to be what I wanted. Dr. Fisher and his staff were beyond amazing and I couldn't thank him enough for giving me my confidence back. He never made me feel rushed nor uncomfortable and I recommend him to anyone! I chose saline implants, 400-450 ccs (right final fill-400, left final fill-450) High profile. Once I turn 22 I'm sure I will switch to silicone.
A friend had got her breast augmentation with Dr Fisher and she highly recommended him. I am nervous about my procedure I know I want to go under the muscle and I want between 500 to 600 CC. Ladies feel free to give any advice. I don't know if it's too big but I'm afraid if I get anything lower it's going to be too small my friend went with the 400cc and wants to go bigger
Pain is a general term for nerve dysfunction of which there are many descriptions. Chronic pain after large augmentation can be difficult to treat because obviously the nerves have been "stretched" and now the "pain" is of a "burning" type. Burning pain indicates nerve dysfunction which may be treated with "nerve" medications such as gabapentin. Perhaps your surgeon may be able to see if that may somehow improve the "burning" component of your discomfort. If you think of the amount of distance that has been increased by enlarging your implants--that in itself may be helpful in trying to understand why the nerve is now giving you "shock" and "burning" like symptoms. Understanding nerve pain and types of nerve pain may better enable you to communicate your symptoms to your surgeon.
While the length of time implants have been tolerated by the body may be a factor (i.e. it is time for implant removal/exchange) the dermatologic reaction known as "hives" or "welts" are "allergic" immunologic reactions of the skin which indicate that circulating histamine is being released in your system. The location, timing, and distribution of the rash is important but regardless a dermatologist needs to be consulted in order to rule out other conditions which may be the "triggering" mechanism of the "allergic reaction" called hives. The presence of a foreign body (i.e. implants) and the length of time that has passed certainly needs surgical attention--which is up to your plastic surgeon. The immunological symptoms are another story and must be addressed before your explantation because of the fact that your symptoms may be related to other medical conditions which may not be improved merely by removal of the implants. Your surgeon needs more medical information in order to make intelligent and INFORMED decisions before implant removal. Rashes can be caused by an underlying medical condition, hormonal cycles, allergies or contact with irritating substances--it is not specific and it refers to any sort of inflammation that distorts the skin appearance--remember the skin is an organ and now you have a condition of that organ along with retention of implants over an extended period of time. So there are a number of issues here: 1.) "sudden" development of a skin condition and 2.) What to do with 30 year old implants and 3.) how should the explantation be performed 4.) what kind of testing can be performed on you before and after implant surgery. I hope this helps to keep the skin condition separate from the implant situation.
