I was excited to sculpt off some excess fat cells. I debated back and forth with myself and spending the money. My friend had the procedure done a year earlier. She did not have an opportunity to see results as she was diagnosed with breast cancer about a few short months later. I might as well have spent my money on swamp land in Florida. First, the center paddle kept setting off alarms. After 3 tries, she said she was sorry but that area was not going to get the freezing. The sides did. If anyone tells you it doesn't hurt, hit them hard and ask if it hurt. It hurts!! Almost unbearable pain and I have a very high tolerance for pain. After the procedure, the tech took off the equipment and said good bye... no questions, no checking on me. I did my best to walk out with my head high but I was in pain and my body seemed to be in shocked. I should have insisted they take my blood pressure. Shame on me. I sat in my car for half an hour trying to get warm and waiting until my body settled down. It finally did but I did not feel well the rest of the day. The area frozen did not hurt much as some people have recorded. But that's because it was frozen. I had no feeling on my skin around my abs for well over 9 months. I really should have gone back and asked for my money back. However, four months after the procedure I was also diagnosed with cancer. My opinion is firm: bad bad medicine here. Save your dollars. This is more snake oil than anything and the company is getting rich off of us while my friend and I struggle with my cancer. Not saying it's because of the Cool sculpting. But who knows. They tell you what you want to hear. I'm telling you what I experienced.
