Other modalities like non-ablative fractionated laser and microneedling with Rafiofrequency May give you faster results and may be more cost-effective.
Cutlers is an excellent laser for vein treatments. Lasers are hot and can cause burns, the energy used varies from patient to patient and it is determined by the skin tone. Looking at your picture is not uncommon to not see results right away, depending on the size of the vessel it may take several rounds of treatment until your dermatologist finds the right energy level to achieve results without damaging the skin. Lastly, if the reason your veins are more prominent is cause of volume loss, may need to consider fat grafting in the area to hid the vein.
For my patients I recommend that they use a gentle soap to wash face three times a day and apply aquaphor or Vaseline 3 times a day. The inflammation can be treated with cool compresses, or keep the Vaseline in the fridge so when you apply it’s cool to the skin. You can also use Arnica gel and/or pills to speed up recovery.
