12 days post op, They are dropping nicely. Very happy with size shape and my recovery. Still sleeping in recliner. My nipples have full sensation. Using stationary bike without arms for daily movement. Just using over the counter pain meds at this point. Very happy with My results and progress.

Feeling more like myself. The right breast is a little higher and has more to drop then the left but that’s normal. I still have some pain in right breast. I am able to walk more on the treadmill now. Loving my results overall!

My right breast is looking larger then left i am hopeful they will even out but a little concerned beach it is only getting bigger and bigger. I have also had much more pain in the right breast since the first day of surgery to now and little to non on the left breast. I will continue to update.

So far I am extremely happy with my results! One is taking a bit longer to drop and sits a little more up down the the other so it is higher and lower then the other which is more outward projected. They do look very good and this is barely noticeable. I am at the 6 week mark and feeling much better and i love my new breasts they still have time to drop and fall into place even more.

9 Months post op They have dropped beautifully! I’ve been working out and walking a lot! I started walking a month after implants then cycling and I’m able to dance and do body weight workouts now. Everyone asks who my doctor was! Dr.Shaklin is the best for breasts!

They have dropped perfectly and are even now. I am very happy with my breasts and so happy to have had Dr.Shanklin to guide me with my choice under the muscle and high profile. Definitely knows what he’s doing I get compliments and questions on who was my doctor. 415cc these pics are 9 months post op working out and happy with the results of my surgery

I am very pleased with my results by Dr Shanklin (Savannah, GA). I had a MMO and liposuction in two areas. I'm currently 23DPO and his post care is amazing. If you are on the fence I would highly recommend you do it. He is a GREAT PS takes his time in explaining and makes you more comfortable. His staff is equally amazing. I have ZERO REGRETS and highly recommend this PS if you are looking to have cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Shanklin and his staff were beyond AMAZING. They answered all of my questions and were very thourough. I felt so comfortable with his staff. I was able to try on A LOT of different implant sizers until I decided which one was perfect for me. They were always available to answer any and all of my questions. I love how tiny my waist is after my vaser liposuction and LOVE my perky breasts after my augmentation!! Can’t wait to get into my new bikini!! I was not an easy case in the end. I was given lipo,buttocks augmentation, and tummy tuck. It has been a long recovery because of how much was done and time it has taken to heal. Was it worth it? I look great and I still have more recovery to do! In another six weeks I do not know if I will be able to stand myself. Thanks to Dr. Shanklin and his staff I look great! I am getting my sexy back!!!!

Dr. Joel Shanklin did a wonderful job on my implant removal with breast lift. The procedure was done in office and I was able to go home in a few hours. He and his staff are professional and very kind. When I had questions, my phone calls were returned within a few hours or less. So far, I am very happy with the way I look and some of my back pain seems to have gone away.

I'm 37 yrs old I have three children 17,16,and 14. I'm a Army wife of 19 yrs,I had a terrible c section with my first child.. the military is not who you want doing any sort of surgery. Long story short after a long recovery from a hysterectomy with wound vac..not fun. I recently found out I have a hernia in my lower abdomen area NO surprise, after 2 surgeons refused to refer me for a tummy tuck to prevent future issues they wanted to put MESH thru my abdomen wall..that's when I decided NO NO NO to mesh. I'm planning on using Dr.Finger in Savannah for a tummy tuck. I'm 5 feet and I weigh 195 I've been going to the gym which I think made the hernia even worse..so I've had to stop going. Any advise would be helpful.. I believe [RS bleep] poor planning leads to [RS bleep] poor performance so in other words I want to be prepared.. I had lipo when I had breast reduction in 2004, I had quit smoking but gained 25 pounds which went straight to were I had lipo I don't want that to happen again.. i'm thinking protein shakes or Vi body may be my saving grace. any advise is helpful! Thanks

I see Dr. Joel L. Shanklin, in Hinesville to get the dates together for my TT I'm super excited and nervous my mom and granny will be helping me thru the day while my hubby and 3 teens help in evening. should I start to buy little things now? if so what?! Are Spanx really needed?! Or can surgical band do the job?! I have an ice machine that you hook up turn on and it pumps ice to a thick pad thinking I can use that for a few days for swelling. Did anyone notice if there pants, sweats, undies, fit more comfy? Did anyone loss weight?! 5/8 pounds?!

I'm hoping my drains come out tomorrow I'm SOooo over them! I'm still so swollen in upper tummy area, I did not do lipo just str8 up TT weird thing is my pooping has been better now then ever, I'm not taking anything for it. I'm still taking my regular morning meds multi vitamin buspar turmeric twice a day and probiotic along with any pain meds I may need ( norco flexural) but the swelling feels like a muffin top but I wouldn't go back to all tha extra skin.. No way! I'm still confused on binders n what else I could be wearing.. Also I'm still so bruised in BB area I see doc tomorrow hope to get some answers

Drains are out!! What a relieve I have had some low blood supply to my Belly button and below. I know part of that is my fault becuz I used ice the first cpl days off n on to help with swelling becuz in my mind I thought OK ice helps with swelling but I didn't think about not feeling how really cold it can get cuz I was numb but thankfully the great lady's on RS helped. So big thank you to everyone. All is well still tough to get out of my bed but I got a step stool next to bed big help! I'm craving fruits like crazy. Post pics soon happy healing to everyone

17 days since surgery still can't stand up all the way. Things are getting easier day by day . Trying so hard to keep swelling down I've read some dr don't do binders some do I'm curious if anyone has experienced both or seen a difference, I wonder if my binder is to tight which could slow down blood circulation to my mid area

I've had a set back my insitions aren't healing as well as I'd hoped I had this same issue 17 yrs ago w a c section and again 4 yrs ago with hysterectomy ended in a wound vac, I'm hoping this won't happen again I'm also hoping the twice a day dressing change wet to dry will help the pics aren't pretty but it's the reality of it I trust my dr I'm following his instructions I'm not a smoker and my activities are pooping,texting my hubby to wipe me, trying to eat high protein, wearing binder 24/7 sitting in reclining chair watching netflix I ordered all the movie channels I'm not much of a reader unless I'm on here! If anyone else has gone thru this or know anyone who has please share any advise thanks ladies

I still have an open insition which is a big downer. My mind is way ahead of my body. Has anyone ever used coconut oil for scar treatment just curious. My doc says I got another six weeks before I'm closed up. I've tried a cpl things on that I wore before surgery and they don't fit anyone ever go thru that?! Also I love to lay out n swim in my backyard come June it's on!! Should I use a high sun block on my tummy area?! Even with the struggles I've had I'd still do it again

I'm doing much better I started excercising again on my gazelle n doing some arms. I'm almost closed I'm back out in the yard I haven't been able to mow or weed wack but I water flowers I can do more n more everyday. Everything I've been thru I'd still do it again my highs my lows no second thought.. and that's how I know it was the right thing for me. The side by side is same tank top just newer a year ago 9 pounds of skin n scar tissue n fat

Feeling better everyday the recovery has been harder then u thought I get so blotted after I eat but I'm working out more n my back pain is nothing like it was before the scar is ugly but there's far more benifits even w the scar I'd do it all again, except ten yrs ago

Wow six months it's gone fast but I remember when it was going slow if you look back at my pic u can see the trauma my body went thru I knew this going into it. It was a risk I took and I'm glad I did it's so much easier to exercise so I exercise more now then before TT I feel better in my clothes it's still hard to believe I carried that baby belly around I had over 9pounds taken off no lipo. I feel I've lowered my risk to health issues as well I'm on a path to healthy one squat at a time!!

To start off I am a white 24 year old single mother of a wonderful 2 year old. I'm 5' 6" and 147 lbs. I have always been teased about having a "flat ass" by my friends, family, and the occasional stranger. I started doing research online about 2 months ago and came across the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. I made an appointment for a free consultation with Dr. Shanklin just to ask all the basic questions about the procedure and the pricing. The price for the operation is $5,500 ($500 of that is for down payment). That includes everything from anesthesia to the overnight stay. I don't have insurance so I paid out of pocket for the medications and the cost for all of it was about $90. I informed Dr. Shanklin that I do have an office job but I'm able to stand and walk around throughout the day. He said as long as I'm not sitting for extended periods of time I should be able to return work after 1 week.

I kept going back and forth about the decision after the meeting mostly because I had mixed feelings about "unnaturally" altering my body and I didn't have much support from my family. As I mulled it over constantly, I finally decided to go for it. I mean, most people go to the gym religiously just to make their body look the way they want it to. So is there really much of a difference? I made another appointment with the Dr. just to have a few more questions answered and express my concerns. He was extremely courteous and gave me all the information I needed. I had my procedure done on Monday, October 15. The night before surgery I was instructed not to eat or drink anything after midnight, which is standard for any scheduled procedure, and to take 1 valium.

The next day, I arrived at the surgery center very anxious. I'm so grateful to Dr. Shanklin and all of his staff. Everyone there was so patient and gentle with me. During the pre-op, Dr. noticed my C-section scar (I keloid) and offered to "fix it" at no extra charge. Of course I jumped right on that! I had liposuction from my flanks, back, and abdomen.

The first 24 hours was cake; mostly because I stayed over night at the surgery center and the nurses (Julie and Marcia) were absolutely AMAZING! They made sure I was as comfortable as they could possibly make me.

My dad picked me up at 6am Tuesday to take me home. My very good friend stayed with me to make sure I was ok. I slept most of the day. I did have some draining that day but not too bad since I drained most of the fluid the night before at the center. By Wednesday the draining pretty much ceased.

The most pain I feel now is in the morning when getting out of bed. I have my first post-op appointment with the Dr. on Tuesday then I return to work on Wednesday. I'm still pretty swollen, but that's to be expected. I don't have any pre-op nor post-op photos yet. I'll be asking for copies from the Dr. on Tuesday.

I have Vaser done on my neck, stomach, flanks, inner and outer thighs! It's been a little over 3 weeks and I love my results. I get compliments all the time. I have lost 15 since the surgery.

While I have been informed the swelling will take time to heal I am looking forward to the summer, hopefully by than I should see full results!

 Pain lasted about 3 days, everyday I felt better and better. Now at 3 weeks I feel I can almost do the same things I did before.

I would recommend doing your HW and trying to diet and exercise before you consider plastic surgery. I lost  about 13 pds on my own, before I consulted my Doctor.

I had a tummy tuck, BBL, chin lipo and j-plasma. I'm not satisfied with my results. My waist was liposuctioned and my back was barely liposuctioned leaving me with a lump of fat over my waist. My belly button is ugly and scarred. I asked him for dramatic and they only put 500cc, leaving me with a square butt, which I already had. I followed my post op care instructions and asked for a revision. But they won't call me back. I would not recommend Dr. Joel Shanklin. He is not consistent with his work.

I have 3 months post op for a bbl surgery and I m completly unsatisfied with the result, i did the lipo 360, lipo for arms and legs too. After 3 months post op I look the same. The arms are still big the legs are just a little bit skinnier, I told him i don t like my flanks and he didn t even touch them are the same, the clinic Vixen Plastic Surgery is the worst, I saw dr Shanklin with just 20 min before the surgery i explained him how I want to look like and beside the pain and the long and painful recovery he did nothing to my body. I would not recommend him at all, unprofessional. And the lymphatics massage that they do at the clinic is not even done it right after they suggested me to take a package of 10 massages I had a lot of fibrosis at my arms legs and abdomen the skin was so hard. I was at another clinic and I had luck there, they tooked care of me and did the massages correctly. I didn saw the doctor after the surgery, he never called me, he never get in contact with me. I regret my surgery with him !!!
