Hi all, so I finally decided to get kybella after I got a really good deal at an open house. I have ALWAYS felt very uncomfortable about my double chin, I'm a little overweight at the moment but even when I was skinny I used to have a double chin. I received a total of 4 vials during my first appointment, I wasn't sure what to think of it because is not really that big of a double chin, but she used 1 1/2 of those vials to "define" muy jaw line. I only got ice to the area prior to the procedure, it was bearable. Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky clients with an asymmetric open smile... Ugh I'll keep you all updated about my progress, I've been taking pictures every single day to record progress. Updated on 4 Jul 2018: I finally decided to go back for my second kybella treatment after 6 months. This time I had no nerve damage and the swelling is a lot less, compared to my first treatment. I only got slightly less than 2 vials this time so we'll see if I can see the results I want this time. Overall, I feel like my first treatment definitely helped define my jawline and face, but I don't think it did much in reducing my submental fat. I'm hoping to see a difference with this second treatment. Updated on 4 Jul 2018:
Dr. Hilty is an amazing doctor. She has helped me age gracefully. She is amazing at injectables and many other things .. She has a big heart and a kind soul . I have been seeing her for about 4 years I would never go to anybody else. She works with each person to make them look their best without overdoing it.. Trust me I wanted to overdo it many times she held me back
Botox is not a cookie-cutter type procedure. Men may need more units than women, and muscle structure makes a difference as well. In general, anywhere from 18-28 units may be needed to properly treat the "number 11's".
