Experienced the same poor result after dermabrasion with this man which made the situation worse and scarring worse. The follow up was not great and basically I told him the situation is worse than prior and he said he understood but he didn’t really care… Entered into a depression thereafter, better now however story needs to be told. Don’t do dermabrasion it just makes scarring worse.
Botched my face. I am left with permanent scarring. He tried covering it with plaster and didn't tell me til plaster was removed. Lies about what he is capable of doing. Procedure did not turn out like any pictures I provided even though he said it would. Blamed me for my skin dying and causing necrosis. Will now cost me 27k to fix and I am unable to afford it. I am happy to show anyone proof just contact me.
I had Recell with Mr Rawlings at Zenith Cosmetics in Nottingham to treat my scars. He approved me for surgery without a face-to-face consultation which, looking back, could be considered unethical as you obviously can't properly assess a patient without seeing them in person first. I experienced no improvement in my scarring, and overall my scars look worse than they did before treatment. I also developed extra scarring as a result of the treatment by Mr Rawlings. Despite this, I was told by the clinic that Mr Rawlings concluded there was no extra scarring as a result of the procedure. I've attached pictures of the areas Mr Rawlings treated, so you can judge for yourself the result he produced. Mr Rawlings also did not book me in for follow up consultations after my Recell to monitor how I was doing.
These really are a difficult problem to treat, but needling seems to offer the best chance of significant improvement. Dermarolller (or pen) is my preferred method - but sometimes does need to be repeated. Combining Dermaroller with dermabrasion and a cell suspension (ReCell) gives the best chance of a really refreshed appearance.
Acne scars come in many different forms. Ice-pick scars (as the name suggests) are deep (crevice-like) and it is unlikely that dermabrasion will significantly help them. They usually need excision, release of the tethering scar tissue, and re-approximation with fine sutures. These areas can then be dermabraded later when they are flatter. An alternative is subsision (with or without) the addition of a filler. There are many different treatments for acne - your treatment should be tailored to YOUR scars - there isn't a single fix that works for everyone. Other treatments can include laser, cell suspensions (ReCell), Botox, and Fillers (including fat).
Hi There Thank you for your question and photographs. In my opinion results from smartlipo can take several months to show. There are some world beating lipo experts in your part of the world. If you have gone to any of them they will definitely sort it out if not enough fat has been removed. Kind Regards
