I've been wearing my retainers at night and my teeth are straight but now I have a slight overbite. How can I fix this?

I understand your concern if you feel your overbite is getting worse. Many times in the orthodontic field the words Overbite and OverJet are confusing for patients. Overbite defines how far the upper front teeth cover the lower front teeth. OverJet is when the upper front teeth protrude out beyond the lower front teeth. You will need to decide which term relates to your teeth. I suggest for you to revisit your existing orthodontist and express your concerns to him/her. The correction could be very simple. However if you do not feel comfortable seeing your previous orthodontist seek a second opinion elsewhere.
