I have battled weight for most of my life. When I heard about the Orbera balloon I thought this might be the answer to help me get on track. I was right. Dr. Korman was an amazing practitioner - caring, thoughtful, and insightful. I lost a ton of weight and they were assiduous in their follow up with me every month. The insertion of the balloon went smoothly as did the removal. After having experienced the misery of Obalon practitioners I realize just how amazing Dr Korman is. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a way to lose weight after years of frustration.

First! sleeve gastrectomy 3/6/17 !! The process to get started with paper work labs and doctors visits took about 3 months or less, i have an hmo insurance with blue shield so my insurance covered all of my surgery. before surgery you have to fast i started a month early some say its tortue though it was great for me by the time i had surgery i just didnt care if u ate or not the Procedure was quick about 2-3 hrs i got up to walk every 3 hours and had pain meds around the same time too i was discharged the very next morning at 11 am i had all of my meds prior to surgery which was a great help im now a month and a half post op when i had surgery i was 329 now im 295 maybe less i haven't weighed my self in a week! i had to get use to the portion control eating though ive come to realize that i actually like it !
