Im 1 day post-op and im feeling decent. Im able to get around independently and use the bathroom by myself if needed. I do get exhausted if im standing/moving for too long though. I have a walker for extra support and a stepping stool to get in and out of bed. I actually have somewhat of an appetite but am eating lightly so i dont increase constipation with my pain relief medication. I got 2 drains and theyre draining nicely. I get a nurse here in a couple of days to check on everything so praying that it goes well. Updated on 10 Oct 2017: Today is not a good day. Been feeling nauseated a lot and the only thing that seems to help is sleep. My in-home nurse checked up on me yesterday but said i should make it my goal (today) to make a bowel movement.. The only problem is im feeling so nauseated I dont think I can keep anything down.. I tried to sip gingerale and i ended up puking it all up. Just one of those days...

My surgery is February 9. I'm having a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and upper abdominal lipo. I'm not sure if I'm more excited or nervous. My biggest fear is the post-op nausea - I can't imagine vomiting after abdominal surgery is much fun ???? I've wanted to do this forever and am finally at a place in my life where I'm able to. I've never had a flat tummy, even before I had children when I was thin.Updated on 1 Feb 2018: Updated on 10 Feb 2018: Surgery was yesterday and it went so well! I had abdominoplasty with muscle repair and lipo of my sides and upper abdomen. The pain has been be manageable. It feels like I've done 1000 burpees, that's how I would describe it. I'm just taking 1 Tylenol with codeine and an Advil every 4 hours and taking it very easy. I'm so happy with my result so far!! 3 weeks post procedure and I find I'm a bit puffy and swollen by the end of the day but overall very happy :) can wait to see the final outcome compared to the first week I was nice and flat. Overall super happy. Dr cheng is awesome.
