Dr. Browning and her staff where awesome and called me the next day to see how I was doing. Honestly, I believe the CO2 laser gets worst before getting better. Day 1- you could not notice anything done to my face till later that day. Day 2- horrible, itchy and just nasty looking! Tomorrow will be day 3 and I was told my swelling will get worst. I use aquaphor and vinegar soaks, face masks and showering seems to be the hardest thing to do yet!
Dr. Browning is a wonderful, caring doctor who goes above and beyond to ensure her patient's receive A+ care. Her bedside manner is amazing and she really takes the time to thoroughly consult and listen to her patients needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Browning for aesthetic procedures as well as for OB/Gyn services!
Dr. Browning is very professional and knowledgeable. She seems genuinely interested and concerned about my health needs. I feel comfortable talking to her about different feminine issues, and she is very responsive to them.
One of my favorite things about fillers is that you get immediate results with very little downtime. A midface filler like Voluma or Restylane Lyft would draw attention to your cheeks and help lift your "heavy jawline". You would need to consult with your physician to see what and how much would help you achieve the results you are looking for.
If a woman experiences vaginal laxity and feeling "like things are falling out," this is often best treated with surgery. If a woman is experiencing a change in sensation, painful intercourse, urinary leakage, or she wishes to avoid a procedure that has downtime, she may want to consider a vaginal laser treatment like the Femtouch. This procedure has been shown to revitalize the tissue and help treat mild incontinence. Ultimately the patient should discuss all options with a gynecologist trained in all options to see what is the best treatment option for her. Good Luck!
I tend to be very cautious treating women who have recently delivered a baby or that are breastfeeding. Anything that can cause hyper pigmentation such as laser treatments have a higher potential of leaving permanent discoloration. I generally tell patients to wait at least 6 weeks after a delivery or 6 weeks after breastfeeding. With fillers you may not have to wait as long. I do not know of any studies that say it is safe to do fillers (or neuromuscular inhibitors) while you are breastfeeding.
Swelling gets worse after injection with a hyaluronic based filler due to its attraction to water molecules. I would be concerned if the lips were excessively hot or had blanched spots. If you wait a few days it will go down. If you are worried you should contact your doctor. Ice can sometimes help with the swelling. Good luck! Lips are a fun area to inject since you most always have good results!
In my experience there is no set recipe for how much neuromuscular inhibitor like Botox each patient will need. The amount of Botox needed is not even just dependent on a patient's age. One patient's anatomy may require more than another's. Some patients want to be completely wrinkle-free; some patients still want to retain much of their muscle-movement and "expression-lines." Some patients are more stressed and need more product to relax their muscles. One needs to be careful that they are paying only what they are using, and not overpaying. My advice is ask questions about how many units you need and compare prices. If you need a lot and the price is fixed you may benefit!
