Am I Able to Drink Anything and Eat Soft Foods While Wearing Invisalign?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You must remove your invisalign trays to eat any foods. The chewing pressure can crack the trays.

I suggest drinking only water with the trays in or the trays will stain and make your teeth look dark. Residue can also accumulate from other drinks and cause cavities.

The best at home products are made with hydrogen peroxide that break down into oxygen and water. carbamide peroxide breaks down into urea. They also contain ingredients that can pull calcium out of the teeth. 15% carbamide is the same strength as 5% hydrogen peroxide. IntelliWHiTE Ultra is 9% Hydrogen peroxide. Results are quick.

Are Porcelain Veneers Recommended for Really Crooked Teeth?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

If your teeth are very overlapped or crowded, it is best to get orthodontics to correct this prior to veneers. This allows for less tooth structure to be removed and a much better esthetic result. It also allows for a healthier periodontal situation beacuse the teeth will be more easy to clean and trap less plaque

Normal for Veneers to Not Feel Secure?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Veneers like crowns when they are permanently cemented should not feel loose. Plaese go back to your dental office and have the dentist check if the bonding i loose or if you are hitting the tooth in a movement which is call occlusal interference.

After Having the Zoom Treatment Done by a Dentist, What is the Food/drink Protocol?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You are most vulnerable to stains for 48hrs after your in office whitening because the pores in the teeth are still open. If you need to drink dark liquids, use a straw to bypass the front of your teeth.

To maintain your new white smile, you have to use products that will remove stain before they penetrate.

IntelliWHiTE makes great products like the stain eraser which is a non peroxide pen you can use after every meal to erase the stains. Their Booster duo is great to brush with everyday to help keep your teeth strong and white

Teeth constantly battle stain everyday.

Porcelain Crown Vs Porcelain Veneers for Peg Laterals After Braces

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

When restoring a peg lateral any porcelain restoration gives a superior result over bonding. You get a better light reflection, shade gradation, translucency, and better strength. Whether a full porcelain crown or veneer is placed depends on the amount of retention needed, your dentist will make that education decision.

What Effect Does Smoking Have on Bone Grafts for Dental Implants?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

When implants are placed they depend on blood supply in our jaws to help the implant integrate. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor that squeezes the vessels and prevents the cells getting to the area to help healing.

When considering implant surgery, you should make sure you are NOT smoking or your chances of good healing is greatly diminished
