My results from my breast augmentation and liposuction are natural looking. Dr platt was always nice and answered all my questions. HEr reception did tell me a completely different time/date then my appointment but she saw me anyways.

Great results, I am very happy with my breast reduction that she did for me 2020. My new breast size fits proportional and my back pain has improved so much! I went back to her for liposuction in 2021 and had a great result! Would recommend to anyone!

So I had breast reduction surgery with Dr. Platt and feel the need to speak about the experience. I have thought long and hard about posting a review and decided to just go for it, as this information may be of use to someone else - and that’s enough for me. I had my surgery in May of 2024, so just about four months ago. The recovery from then to now has been difficult in more ways than one - starting with a serious infection contracted from the procedure. Exactly how this came to be is unclear, though this particular bacteria is known to be present in hospital environments. The infection spread pretty quickly throughout one of my breasts and it was determined I would need to have another procedure to clean out the necrotic tissue caused by the infection - all of which left behind a deep and significant hole. Shortly after the procedure I was then required to wear a “wound vacuum” 24/7 that would continuously suction fluid out of the wound to help it close. That process itself was painful, but necessary to close the wound. Thankfully, I am pretty much healed from that complication but there is one other issue - the results. It’s really hard to know exactly what your final results will be, until months or even up to a year post-op until you’ve healed. Keeping that all in mind, I tried my best to remain optimistic that the appearance of my breasts would improve. But, it’s starting to seem that they never will… Which obviously is devastating, and has done quite a number on my confidence and self-esteem. In the appointments leading up to the initial surgery, Dr. Platt was friendly but very dismissive. I wasn’t given the chance to have an opinion on what I would want my results to be. Every attempt was brushed off, which I didn't think much of at the time… But now looking back, one of my biggest regrets was not being more vocal. Maybe I could’ve prevented all this, if I had just been more vocal about my wants about the desired outcome for MY body. I naively assumed that she had my best interests in mind and with her experience, she would at least give me proportionate results, with proper areola to breast ratio. But that wasn’t the case, and honestly that’s on me, I should’ve pushed harder to be heard or just sought out another surgeon. I also think it's worthy to note that the surgery didn’t cost me a cent. Due to the back breaking pain caused by my heavy bosom, the full cost was covered by OHIP. Knowing this, I can’t help but wonder if this is partly why things turned out the way they did. Like would I have received better care and consideration if I was a paying patient? Moving forward I will have to pay out of pocket for any additional surgery to correct my breasts, which will take some time to save up for. I’ve become so self-conscious that I've decided there is no way I can show them to anybody. I literally tear up every time I see them in the mirror. So please, for the love of God please don’t be like me. Please do your due diligence, do your research and don’t settle for any less than you deserve. Be vocal, ask questions, follow your gut, and make sure you are heard. I hope this is helpful to someone.
