After a 20 year marriage, and two adult children, I decided to do something special for me. I am a 43 y/o Registered Nurse, and during my teenage years and most of my adult years, I always wanted breast. I have always been a small B cup. Thanks to my awesome surgeon, Dr Herrold, I was able to accomplish my goal. Updated on 14 May 2014: I am currently six weeks post op breast augmentation. I have 475cc and 450cc subpectoral, Mentor silicone high profile implants. I am loving my new look. Prior to surgery, my surgeon and I discussed a lesser volume, but as my surgery date got closer I had a change of heart. Instead is a full C, I am officially a DD cup. I am glad I did. FYI, for fullness, go for a larger size. You will be glad you did. I don't have any before pictures, at least any that are discret, but my next post, I will post after surgery pics. Before I was a small B. If you can imagine that. Updated on 14 May 2014: Updated on 18 Sep 2014: Ok RS divas, I have been on this site since April this year. I had a breast augmentation in March. Love my results!!! Thanks to you all reviews, I have now schedule my BBL with Dr Ortega in April 2015. I am excited but after reading a few negative reviews about Ortega, kinda skeptical now. Especially after going back and forth with him or Dr Fisher. I guess I will have to really stress my expected resulted. I want to do this and do this only once. Are there any RS divas who has had the BBL with Ortega and are greatly satisfied? I am 5'9 and Wt is 178lbs. Athletic and stopped wt training and Zumba about a year ago. Please if any of you have had a great outcome with Dr O, please ease my mind! Updated on 2 Oct 2014: RS ladies, I have planned a trip to Las Vegas and was about to board the plane today. The flight was full. Sooo, the lady announced over the PA system if anyone would like to give up their seat for a $300 voucher, half of your one way total reimbursed and still book for a later flight. My husband and I went back and forth. So we did it! So we will leave for Las Vegas in the morning, plus have a voucher of $483.00 each to fly anywhere via Southwest Airlines. Sooo yes this will be my surgery flight!! Yaaaasssss! Updated on 16 Oct 2014: Well RS ladies. I have been contemplating on adding pics. But oh wth, we are all trying to or already have gotten that bodacious booty and snatched waist!! I am scheduled for BBL in April 2015, a few days after my BD!! with Dr Ortega. Yaaaay! I am so ready. I want to thank EVERYONE on RS for information provided. Pros and Cons! Being a nurse, I kinda know which supplies will be needed. But my issues are getting the right fajas post surgery. Can someone please give me some info on where to start! Thanks!
After what I thought was good research I decided to do a treatment on my upper and lower abdomen. Afterwards I realized I had not researched this site but instead was viewing reviews by Clinics etc promoting them. Of course they presented it well. No one mentioned the horrible pain. I was swollen for two weeks. So much that I couldn't wear my normal clothes. But i was determined to not be a cry baby and wait for the predicted results. Well it's six weeks later and I see no results. Here's my biggest disappointment, my lower abdomen in actuality wasn't a good area to even attempt. I realized the moment she put the paddle on that area that there was no fat sucked up in it. In reality it was sucking up very loose skin. I have lost 35 lbs and this area ESP was just loose skin. The tech should have examined this and knew it would not be a good outcome. Very disillusioned with the tech. By the way I never saw the Dr. As for the upper abdomen she got a good hold on the fat which should have given me some results but at this point nothing. Of course I was encouraged to come in for a second treatment on the same areas with promise that the seconds would make all the difference. Well I'm not falling for that. I now know a tummy tuck is what I need for the loose skin. I'm out 1260$ for nothing. Unless by some miracle the upper ab suddenly gets smaller. Moral: do better research than I did. I wonder if the clinics know we are too intimidated to tell them of the poor results? I think so/ I mean what can they say? Certainly no money back. I wish.
I had two back surgeries in the past year and my breast have been large all my life and I've been considering having the procedure done but never went thru I just thought I couldn't afford it. But it was needed cause my back is in very bad shape so my insurance paid for it. It has been so overwhelming going thru this all alone but the staff is the greatest hands down I think dr herrold is hands on with the new day education of procedures I trust him. My goal is to not have to have anymore back sugeries and pray that this will get me out the bed and back to the top model I am.
