I have had the following separate procedures: tummy tuck, upper blepharoplasty, liposuction. All great experiences. Tummy tuck was over 15 years ago still looks great and blepharoplasty and lipo in last 3 years. Highly recommend.

I have posted many times here about the horrible experience I have had with breast implants. Over thirty years ago I had silicon breast implants. Fifteen years later I had them replaced because of rupture and capsular contraction. I was assured by the next surgeon that saline implants would not rupture or cause capsular contraction. This was not true. About 5 years later I once again had severe capsular contraction. I was going to have the implants removed at this time but the next surgeon told me that the new silicon implants where so much improved I absolutely would not have an issue. I had such a bad experience growing up with a completely flat chest that I wanted to believe him. I once again had implants. Last year, I had them removed because again, they ruptured and CC. Finally realized that implants were not for me no matter what the doctors tell me. Because I had implants for so long I knew I would not look normal. Fat transfer was to be the answer. I am writing all this to be fair to Dr. Williams, I was a bad case to begin with! The Fat transfer was to be done in 2 separate surgeries. My surgeon was Dr. Malek Kaiser out of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He removed the implants and did the first fat transfer. There were no lumps or anything like that after this first fat transfer. The problem was the breasts were not the same size and one side had a severe deformity from scar tissue or whatever. This was to be fixed with the second surgery. Just my luck, Dr. Kaiser retired before my second surgery, just six months after the first! He recommended Dr. Williams out of Troy, MI. He seemed to understand what I had been through. He informed me that because of his technique I would not have lumps or anything like that. He also explained that because of my age (59), my donor site (thighs) would have some loose skin but he would try to drape the skin to minimize this. So, I now have loose skin on my thighs (ok, with this) the problem is my thighs now have divots and look strange. Too much fat seems to have been taken from the middle inner thighs and now look indented. I questioned Dr. Williams about this and I never get a good answer as to why my thighs look like they do all he said was that I do not have a lot of fat and it is harder to get good results. Why wasn't this mentioned before surgery? I did not lose or gain any weight! Worse, my breast that was deformed now has a large lump. Dr. Williams has drained it twice. It has not reduced the size at all! It has been 7 months with no improvement. I went for a mammogram and was then told I needed an ultra sound. They do not know what this lump is but I know I did not have it until the second fat transfer. The last time I was in Dr. Williams office he told me all he can do is drain it and it should go away on it's own. This is ridiculous! I need to know what it is and what can be done about it. How long do I wait for it to "go away on it's own"? I do not want to continue to go to his office, I wait an hour or more each time (YOU NEVER GET IN TO SEE HIM AT YOUR SCHEDULED TIME, I was told straight out by his receptionist that he always double books at least). I have always used highly recommended board certified doctors and this is what I get. I am mad, frustrated, and feel very taken advantage of. Between the 2 fat transfer surgeries I paid $20,000 and I look horrible (breasts and legs, can't wear shorts anymore) and now have to go for ultrasounds and MRIs instead of just mammograms. Please, doctors, be responsible for your mistakes! Updated on 1 Jul 2019: I finally received my medical records that I requested from Dr. Williams office, I want them for my primary care and also because the lump still has not gone away. I cannot believe what he wrote! He says the contour irregularities to my thighs are not any different than pre surgery. NOT TRUE he even said to me that it probably happened because I did not have sufficient fat in the area. Next he said he informed me that I need to continue to see him for soft tissue massage to help with the lump...he never mentioned that, all he said was he would continue to drain the lump in my breast! He then stated that I missed and appointment, never happened. I called and spoke with the nurse and asked her to cancel my upcoming appointment if all Dr. Williams could do is drain the lump because it was not working. So she canceled it. He then further says that my primary care doctor ordered a mammogram, HE ORDERED IT ! He never mentioned what he read into the results of the mammogram and I know he received it! I am hurt, frustrated, devastated. How can a surgeon do this? I have been to many plastic surgeons trying to first get implants then dealing with CC and rupture, then Dr. Kaiser who removed my implants and did the first fat transfer, I NEVER ONCE HAD A COMPLAINT. This is ridiculous. A doctor can put whatever he wants in your medical chart and there is nothing you can do about it.
