Incredible results and customer service! After educating my self on the process and understanding the doctor oversight from beginning to end I decided to get scanned at an NYC SmileShop. I received a treatment plan within 2 days and the invisible aligners arrived a few weeks after that (all at once). I started noticing results almost immediately and have been thrilled with the customer service. 90 days in I submitted photos to make sure everything was tracking and I got reassurance that I was right where I needed to be. At the beginning of treatment a digital plan is provided that outlines the predicted movement of teeth within a certain time frame. As with any type of orthodontic treatment teeth do not always move as predicted and adjustments and extensions sometimes need to be made. If a customer completes treatment but does not achieve the results as outline there is a process in place to re-evaluate. The license dental professional will create additional steps to achieve the final movements needed. There is typically no additional charge for this if results were not achieved as originally outlined and the customer has been complaint with wearing the aligners. It is never the intention to provide misleading information or not provide the desired outcome that was outlined. That it is up to the surgeon who is performing the surgery as to whether or not the patient can continue with aligner therapy following the surgery. It is also up to the surgeon as to how long you may need to wait before you can re-initiate use of the aligners.
Use your emery board to trim all rough edges and within a few days, your teeth, cheeks and gums will get used to wearing the aligners.
