As my colleagues have indicated, correction of your breast shape, size, position and asymmetry could be achieved by rearranging your breast tissue and adding implants for volume. Although it is uncommon for insurance companies to cover breast lifts and implants, some will cover correction of congenital deformities. It may be worthwhile to look into this option. All the best.

Thank you for your question. You appear from your photo that you have had an excellent early reconstructive result. It has been only two weeks since you implant exchange. The healing process will take several months, and you are likely to heal with some softening and relaxation. Your implant positions appear appropriate and symmetric. It is possible your implants could not be positioned closer together due to your anatomy. You should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon. After several months, if the implant position and hase not improved, you should inquire if any revisional surgery might help you achieve your desired result. Again, you have an excellent early result ans it is advisable to allow some time for your implants to settle.

Thank you for your inquiry. Breast reduction surgery, properly performed, should be able to reduce and lift most larger breasts to almost any desired size. There should be no issue or significant risk to reduce an E cup to a C cup. It is very important that you find a board certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience and expertise in breast reduction surgery who will listen to your request and properly evaluate you preoperatively. Often a conservative breast augmentation can correct mild differences in breast size as well as correct mild ptosis (droopiness). The tuberous breast deformity is quite variable, and includes narrowing of the base of the breast and herniation (bulging) of breast tissue and enlargement of the areola. Often tuberous breasts are quite different in shape and size. Every patient is different and must be carefully evaluated before any surgery is performed. I have found that correction of tuberous breasts is not only physically desirable, but it is often of great emotional benefit. I am not sure there are "known stars," so I would be sure to consult with several board certified plastic surgeons with broad experience in both cosmetic augmentation and breast reconstructive surgery. For my patients with tuberous breast deformity, the consultation is long and detailed, and surgery requires significant planning. A truly natural result is possible in some patients, and realistic expectations are very important. Good luck!

Dr. Meisner & his team of professionals were by far the best surgical experience I've ever had in my history of surgeries. I received a (much needed) breast reduction in December of 2019. Even though most of my post-op was affected by COVID, he reassured me that I could always reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. His compassion & vast intellect in his craft is not only admirable but very much comforting for those of us with anxiety. I can not express enough how grateful I am that I met Dr Jay but I will try my best. My journey started when I was given the number to the office by a friend that expressed how Dr Jay changed her life. That first call to the office was life changing. His nurse Maria was kind ,informative and very patient. I had so many questions and she answered them with no hesitation and with concern and kindness. When it came time for my Consultation with Dr Jay, I immediately had a connection and knew I was in the right place. Dr Jay's professionalism, attentiveness and compassion was beyond my expectations. Durung that visit I was his top priority. He answered all my questions and when I left I was at peace and knew God sent me there. On December 8,2020 I arrived at the hospital for my panniculectomy. Due to Covid I had to check in alone without my fiance. When Dr Jay came in the room before surgery, I felt like I had family by my side and all my anxiety left. When it came time for surgery, he assured me he will hold my hand until I fall asleep and when I wake up his smile will be the first thing I see. I've always been afraid to of anesthesia but that day I had such peace. When I woke up in recovery he was right there smiling. My pain level was a 4 out of 10. I was not in excruciating pain, it was more of a cramping and discomfort. The incision did not hurt at all. Dr Jay and Maria checked on me everyday and that attentiveness was something I've never experienced with a doctor. Thank you doc and Maria! You guys rock! As for recovery, I walked humped over for about a week and It hurt a little to cough and laugh. I experienced pain but never at a 10. I only needed prescription pain medicine for a few days after that I took extra strength Tylenol. One drain came out a few days after surgery and the last drain the second week. Everything went according to what Dr Jay said and I trusted him. As of today 1/18/2021 my cut is healing beautifully and it looks amazing! I had a hanging stomach for 20 years and now I will be able to wear a bikini! I always had self esteem but now I have major self esteem! I know everyone is different and heals differently, I am only sharing my life changing experience in detail because I want everyone to know my amazing journey.
