All i can say is Whao. Dr. Shapiro is very knowledgeable. He informed me right away of all different types of filler. He understood symmetry of the face and proportions. I had Restylene on my lips and it came out perfect.
I’m a first time cosmetic procedure patient and was VERY hesitant about doing any type of enhancements but I’m also a firm believer in prevention and maintenance. Dr. Shapiro is professional, informative, & the coolest guy!! I was interested in having dysport for the area between my eyebrows for preventing frown lines and he made the procedure a breeze and has given me long-lasting results. I went back for a second time to address my nasobeal creases which are more prominent now and we ended up doing 2 procedures in 1 session. The hype about #LipsbyShapiro is REAL! Dr. Shapiro used his skill & artistry to give my lips an angelic, pouty, subtle appearance with minimal pain & filled my creases effortlessly. I can’t praise him enough. If you’re in the Miami area & need a Doctor, do yourself a favor — call Tribeca Medaesthetics ASAP & ask for Dr. Shapiro.
Performing an eyebrow lift with Botox or Dysport can be a tricky procedure. My first recommendation is to choose an injector physician with experience in doing this simple procedure. When performed correctly, this is an excellent simple and inexpensive way to open up the appearance of your eyes without looking "done". Having said that, when a patient experiences eyelid heaviness approximately 5-7 days after receiving Botox or Dysport to create an eyebrow lift, likely the medication has already migrated to the upper eyelid muscle (levator palpebrae muscle) and caused that muscle to become weak for a period of 3-5 months, or until the Botox or Dysport wears off. SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: I do not recommend you receiving more Botox or Dysport to try and fix the ptosis because it won't work. The only viable way to effectively treat eyelid heaviness (ptosis) is to be prescribed Iopidine eyedrops. This is a very effective and inexpensive way to immediately correct the ptosis. You would need to use these drops several times per day until the Botox or Dysport wears off.
