Will 500-550cc be too big for me at 5’10” and around 165lbs? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The best advice I would give you would be to go back to your plastic surgeon for another visit to “try on” implants.  This will give you a general idea of how the implants will “fit” your body.  Ultimately, your own anatomic factors play a very important role in choosing the right implant.  Ask your surgeon what factors they use to pick the right implant for you.  Hopefully after some additional meaningful discussion with your surgeon, your comfort level with the implant size will be better.

I’m 7 days post op TT and MR. Is this bump a hernia?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Everything looks good for being in the very early healing phase.  Possibly a little asymmetry but not a hernia.  Your result should improve with time.  Continue your scheduled follow up appointments with your surgeon and follow their instructions closely.  Congratulations on your new tummy!

Is my implant bottomed out? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Congratulations on you new breasts!  It appears that you are very early post-op.  You do appear to have some subtle asymmetry but way to early to be concerned about that.  Your implants will settle quite a bit over the next few months.  And you are not “bottomed out”.  Be patient and keep in communication with your surgeon.  When you are completely healed, look at your before and after pictures to fully evaluate your result.  Best Wishes!

Vertical Incision - Fluid Pocket - Packing wounds daily (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Unfortunately this a problem that can occur in that area likely due to a combination of tension and diminished blood supply.  Local wound care managed by your surgeon is your best course of action at this point.  This wound will most likely heal but may leave an unsightly scar which may need revision.  I personally would not recommend a VAC at this point but that may be an option if the situation worsens.

Recent Breast Augmentation complete 3WKs..What Will Be My End Results? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
That is fairly significant asymmetry.  It is early and your capsule is in its early formation stages so you do not have capsular contracure.  There could be multiple  issues at play here, ie, unnoticed preoperative asymmetry, asymmetric pocket dissection, etc.  Definitely ask your surgeon for advice on maneuvers to help improve on the situation, massage, bandeau, etc.  You do need to wait a few months as things will change during the first 3 months.

How Long After Getting Botox Can I Get More if I'm Not Seeing Much Change?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

While you can see some benefits of Botox at 7 days I recommend waiting for 10-14 days to see maximum results before going back in to consult with your physician about touching up or getting more Botox.

Trim Labiaplasty

I have wanted this procedure since I can remember. I was afraid when the doctor suggested an in office trim could be done. I went and got a second opinion and decided to not the bullet. I am now one week post op and I feel as if I am going to have to have a revision already. I am completely unsatisfied with the results so far. Updated on 15 Aug 2019: This is sooo itchy and the swelling is starting to go down finally. I’m feeling a little more confident that it may turn out well. It still hurts! I’m icing quite a bit, and I hope this whole process will be with it.

29 Yrs Old , One Child That I Breast Fed. Much Needed Breast Makeover - Omaha, NE

I had my son at 22 . I decided to nurse. Before nursing by breast were a b cup. When I was nursing my breast went up to a large d. When the nursing stopped my breast shrunk down to an a cup. Swim suits and clothes were frustrating. I finally went in for a consult. Dr. Miller made me feel very comfortable. He listened and understood what I was wanting . It's just been a week since surgery but I am very happy and excited to see the end result.

Awesome Results 6 Years Post Reconstructive Surgery! - Omaha, NE

Because I was treated for breast cancer at 32, I was fairly certain I would opt for reconstructive surgery. I didn't know which doc to go with. I'm so thankful someone steered me towards Dr. Miller. The process is a little lengthy in nature and getting "fills" to stretch the tissue to accommodate the new breast implants was not my favorite. But, cancer treatment is not a sprint...It's a marathon and this was just part of the treatment and recovery process. The discomfort was worth it, without a doubt. I'd do it again.

$1,000Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion for Acne Scars on Face - Omaha, NE

I am 26 years old and have suffered from acne since middle school. I have seen a dermatologist ever since I was 18 years old, and been put on numerous different oral medications and face creams. I have done a couple chemical peels at my dermatologist office and silk peels also. I wanted to try everything less evasive before having to go to a plastic surgeon, but I felt like this might have been my best option. He numbed my face before the procedure, which the procedure it's self did not take long. It's been eight hours since I have had it done and surprising I am feeling better than I expected! Updated on 14 Apr 2014: Updated on 14 Apr 2014: I just went back to the doctor today and am healing nicely. I was cleared to go back to work on Wednesday which I am extremely excited about since I have not left the house in seven days. I was given pain mess for after the procedure so my pain was under control, I did notice some swelling the third and fourth day. Overall I am optimistic with results!

33 Year Old Mom of 2 Ready to Get Her Groove Back :) - Omaha, NE

1 week out and FREAKING!!!!! One second I'm so excited and can barely stand it and then the next I'm crying and thinking of cancelling. I have never had surgery before so that unknown alone is scarey. Whenever I start to loose my nerve I picture myself comfortable in all my clothes and maybe a bikini this summer. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! A BIKINI!! I haven't touched one since I was 21, maybe even 20. Just feeling confident in my own skin is worth it. My husband is so sweet. I have been working so hard the last 3 years to get where I am and he says how beautiful I am but he understands why I need to do this. Very few people know I'm having this done. I don't want to deal with the stigma of the procedure. So I am thankful for a site like this :)

Rhinoplasty Day by Day - Omaha, NE

Septorhinoplasty with spreader grafts. And mini tummy tuck. Village point aesthetics is a very professional facility with the best plastic surgeons. My procedure was slightly uncomfortable but I am feeling better everyday. I am only for days out and no more pain. Only the uncomfortable feeling of splints in my nose. The tip of my nose looks huge, I hope it goes down! I did not have a big tip to begin with. Updated on 25 Aug 2013: Updated on 26 Aug 2013: Today I go and get my splint off in about three hours. I'm very excited. The swelling increased from day 1-3. I was thinking day 2 would be the worst and then it would start to subside, but oh no it kept on swelling. It's getting less and less everyday. I've noticed the swelling moved from my eyes downward. My checks are still puffy. I started out with a small tip and needed spreader grafts to open the proximal end of the septum. The post nasal drip is starting to flow freely this morning. It's so hard not to blow my nose!. Off to the doctor, and back to nursing school today!! I will update a photo splint free by tonight. Updated on 26 Aug 2013: Super swollen, but I'll take it Updated on 27 Aug 2013: Bought some Arnica pills yesterday for these bruises to go away! Just wait until you go out in public with all your bruises. Everyone stares but no one asks. Haha. Updated on 1 Sep 2013: All bruises are gone finally!! Still swollen and numb though.
