Dr Potter and his staff are one in a million. They are compassionate and caring. My reconstruction was due to cancer and they took a traumatic experience and brought joy and satisfaction to it. I feel more confident and natural than I ever thought I could.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Potter was for me and my procedure. He was extremely thorough and compassionate from the first consultation. He did a phenomenal job on my reconstructive surgery.
Dr Potter did a breast augmentation revision on me and increased my implant size. He did an amazing job and I am very happy with results. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a breast augmentation.
I'm so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Potter by my Oncologist. Having a double mastectomy is life changing and scary but Dr. Potter put me completely at ease. What a blessing to have him as an option to be the plastic surgeon to do all the reconstruction after my mastectomy. Dr. Potter, Linda, Amy and his entire staff are both compassionate and professional from start to finish. I'm just finishing up another fat grafting procedure to make the reconstruction look the best it could be. Thank you again Dr. Potter for all your time/patience and your amazing bedside manner!!

I had been considering having a BR for many years. I'm 45 and what finally pushed me to take action, was that last summer during my annual mammogram, they found a big lump (4 cm) on my left breast, which thank God, the biopsy revealed it was non cancerous. I had my BR done 2 weeks ago and it has been great so far. I really haven't been on any pain and I think I'm healing pretty good. I have an appointment tomorrow with my ps and I hope the pathology report is ok. My ps found several other cysts on both of my breasts. I am not sure if this is something common for someone who has a lump though. I only wish I had found this site earlier!! I love to read the experiences from you guys and to know I'm not alone!! I don't have any pre-op pics but I was a size 36DDD on the right breast and 36D on the left. Needless to say my breasts were very different in size from each other. These are my 2 week pics. Updated on 6 Dec 2013: I had my 2 week post op on Wednesday and everything looks good. I found out my ps took 200 grams from my left and 475 grams from my right to even out my breasts since they both had completely different sizes. I feel fine and just with some discomfort, except when I get in the car. All that bouncing makes me very sore, but I think is normal. I'm still VERY happy with my surgery. It was totally worth it!! Updated on 11 Dec 2013: I'm almost 3 weeks post op and going back to work. I started to see a red spot on my left breast and my ps was afraid it could be an infection, so he sent me some antibiotics. It looks like a rash to me but it is better to be safe. I have lost almost 8 lb after my BR without even trying, I think it's because I have not been hungry at all. Still have alot of discomfort when I move around too much, so I hope to take it easy at work LOL! My phone, just won't post any pics but I can't seem to make it work. I'll try again later on. Happy healing everyone!
I was referred to the office by my oncologist. My review isn’t about the doctor, but his office staff. I was told I should have a lift prior to a prophylactic mastectomy to be able to keep my nipples. I scheduled for surgery, paid, and afterwards spoke with my insurance - they said the doctor needs to file a pre-auth and they would be able to cover it. There is an entire paragraph in my benefits packet my insurance sent me saying they cover this exact same procedure. I called the office to request they file a pre-auth and the office personnel Jordan told me that this is cosmetic (even though I was told I needed it to help save my nipples with a mastectomy) and that they refused to file a pre-auth or file on my insurance for this. She said “Even though they say they cover it, they will not cover it.” Not sure how she knows this when no pre-auth was filed and my insurance specifically stated they cover this situation prior to mastectomy. She continued in a very condescending tone with me when I said I was recommend to have this 9 months prior to my mastectomy that “this is not a mastectomy, it’s a mastopexy”. I never said this was the mastectomy. When I tried to say this, she cut me off saying “I know, I was in the room.” - but she did not seem to know. I was very annoyed because I used to work in the medical field with insurance and I don’t see what filing a pre-auth could hurt in their situation. This raised a lot of red flags since they file for the mastectomy through insurance. I asked for a refund (I paid in full 4 days ago) and they told me that no one could even start to process a refund for 2 weeks. I will not be coming back here and I will be letting my oncologist and friends know to avoid at all costs.
