Dr. Daniel has helped me achieve a look I've strived for, for Yeats. I had asymmetrical, tuberous breasts with one worse than the other. I'm healing on my second surgery and intend to upload a series of photos once my journey is more complete. Dr. Daniel has an amazing personality, work ethic, and listens to your goals while being realistic about the process (which I need from a Doctor). I couldn't recommend a better doctor! His staff is amazing, the office very clean and beautiful; they got me in and situated for surgery in a good time frame..all in all this is the office I'll always go to! I'd also like to note that since my first operation even though my breast was still a bit tuberous (which I expected) the tissue expansion helped the chronic pain and discomfort tuberous breasts can sometimes cause...I was thankful to not feel that anymore since I had dealt with it ever since I developed breasts. Thank you so much Dr. Daniel!
He and his staff were amazing to me im only 4 day a post Op and I couldn't be happier they are perfect by far the sweetest most thoughtful respectful understanding doctor I have ever met!! I cant begin to thank him enough
I'm only 2 days post op but i wanted to describe my experience with Dr. Daniel. From start to finish and I cannot say anything bad about this process. I was terrified of surgery, even thought iv'e wanted this for SO long. The nurse anesthetist was so patient with me after learning about my fear of needles and IV's. He explained his part thoroughly and gave me all of his credentials to make me feel safe. I can sat the same about the OR manager and the nurse who was with me when I woke up. Before surgery Dr. Daniel was there also calming me and assuring me everything would be perfect. My breasts are still sooooo tight so I cannot see the fulll results for a while but so far they look great! I would recommend him to ANYONE who is thinking about getting work done!
I have to say this is the BEST surgeon ever!! My experience was fantastic. The staff was great starting with the first phone call to the consultation to the pre-op to the Post stop and surgery. They were always there when I needed my questions answered, everyone was very kind and this is the treatment everybody deserves when they're looking to increase their confidence and look amazing! I absolutely love my results today and and I'm looking forward to the end results. this is where I'm going to go for other procedures because trust me when I say he is the best. The surgeon goes above and beyond! Bless you Dr Jarrod Daniel and your team.
Please everyone look no further, Dr Daniel is by far the best plastic surgeon I know, trust me years of experience with other plastic surgeons there is no one like him, wish I would have found him years ago. Not only is his work by far perfect but he is the most honest sincere surgeon I know and trust. His staff are the most caring group of people I know. Please everyone listen to me and don’t waste your time and money getting a consult from anyone else. Go to Maine Plastic Surgery
I had gastric bypass surgery in 2009 and lost approx. 150 pounds. I had a TON of loose skin and was so ashamed of wearing any clothing but thick materials to hide my body. I met with Dr. Daniel for a consultation and he explained very thoroughly what he'd like to accomplish for me. I left feeling so hopeful and excited. Everyone on his staff are extremely kind and have amazing bedside manner. I just had my surgery 2 days ago for a 360 belt lipectomy with muscle repair, lipo, and breast lift. I enjoyed the entire experience and everyone on staff made me feel safe and comfortable. He is very caring and you can tell he's passionate about what he does for work. My results are far better than anything I could have ever hoped for and I know I still have a long road ahead for recovery before I see the real results. I thought for sure that I would need implants because my breasts were so empty, but he told me that he could make them perfect without implants using a different technique (I believe it's called an autoaugmentation). I'm so happy I went with him. He's really an amazing and skilled surgeon, and he's the only one I want for my future surgical procedures ( arm and thigh lift are next).
Brazilian butt lift sept 11th 2018 Someone had referred me to Dr. Daniel to be honest at first I didn’t think he could give me exactly what I wanted because no shade he’s a white man all the way in East bum [RS bleep] (in Maine) so I never thought that I would find a great doctor there but he surprised me with my results I am so happy that I let him do my surgery he made me feel so Comfortable as soon as he saw me he goes I know exactly what you want Honestly I thought I was going to come out looking so fake and plastic a big ass booty looking like an ant but nope I came out very natural very sexy now I’m more confident in myself than ever I can’t stop taking pictures six months later I’m still looking at my body like I got it done yesterday overall it was a great experience with them the whole staff there are amazing everybody are just friendly. I love you Dr. Daniel and I appreciate you for making me feel so sexy. Updated on 2 Oct 2019: When u can’t stop looking at your self in the mirror after a year. And I also gaine like 15-20 pounds lol but I love it shit I still look natural af... And my waist is still slim... I don’t think I need round 2 but if I go thru this pain again it’ll be for my breast
I’m scheduled to have a breast lift with autoaugmention in early January 2019. I’am 41 years old with two children that I nursed both. This is a gift that I’m giving myself and have wanted for a long time. I’m very excited and a little nervous too as I have never gone under. I take zero medications. This procedure will be done under twilight sedation which they say has quicker recovery. No implant is used. They use your own breast tissue as a triangle wedge to lift the breast. The traditional breast lift incisions are made around the nipple and vertically down. I wondered whether ladies could give me advice about post op. I’m told they will provide me with a bra, scar cream, etc. but I would like to be prepared. Arnica was also recommended before the surgery and after. Do you recommend specific things to have after the surgery? Extra bras, if so which ones? What scar creams do you recommend? Is it worth getting a pillow to sleep on? Any advice would be so helpful about recovery or what to expect. I generally have a high pain tolerance. The hardest part will be not being able to exercise as that is a huge part of my life. Also, just resting as I’m busy running after two kiddos and I’m not great about sitting down or taking it easy lol. Any advice would be so appreciated. I also thought it would be helpful to post my journey as I don’t see a lot of information on here about the breast lift with autoaugmentation. Updated on 23 Jan 2019: I totally did not keep up here but wanted to share my experience for others as I found this site so helpful. I’m a mom to two beautiful kiddos 9 year old and 12 year old. I nursed both my babies and was left with deflated balloons and measured a 32D. I was told I had enough skin for a procedure known as an auto augmentation where they use your existing breast tissue to create upper pole lift and lift the breast . I also wanted arm pit lipo. I’m 41 years old and very active as I’ve always been an athlete. I’ve never had surgery and do not take medication. I was nervous about going under but everything went so smoothly. They took vitals, put in my IV, the doctor came in and made his markings and then they took me to the surgery room. The anesthesiologists said I’m going to give you something to relax you and next thing you know I was in recovery. I felt great no nausea and minimal pain. Moving forward, I would not be so nervous about surgery so hope that might ease some nervous minds. I came home and rested mostly but was able to walk around. I took the nerve blocker and anti inflammatory the first and second day and then just took extra strength Tylenol on day 3 then was off all meds except antibiotics. I did the arnica two weeks prior to surgery, ate very healthfully and tried to stay very hydrated. I continued to do so after surgery as well. The pain feels more like pressure on your chest rather than sharp pain. It is weird as it feels like my milk is coming in as the nerves awaken and reconnect. I did have a reaction to the steri tapes and have had redness, tenderness and very itchy. The doctor put me on a course of antibiotics just to be sure but said it was a reaction and recommended anti itch cream. I’m almost two weeks post op and absolutely love the results! I would highly recommend this procedure with a skilled PS. I also am very happy with the armpit lipo. I was just released for lower body workout meaning walking on treadmill or recumbent bike. No lifting till 4 weeks post off. I get to start scar therapy Wednesday! Things I recommend: I asked for a nausea patch which I placed behind my ear night before after I showered. Because I told them I’m prone to nausea, they also put a little nausea medicine in my IV. Stay super hydrated and eat well. It goes a long way I soft wireless bra that has soft material Updated on 23 Jan 2019: I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I highly recommend Dr. Daniel. Their office is professional, kind, thorough and incredibly helpful in all ways. Dr. Daniel is so welcoming and answered all my questions before and after the surgery and continues to do so. His work is meticulous and he has a real talent for shaping the breast and creating nice symmetry. My scars are minimal. I did have a reaction to the adhesive in the Steri Strips but I’m using hydrocortisone cream and taking Benadryl at night. I can already tell on day one that it is better. I also highly recommend the lipo in the armpit area if that is something that bothers you as they just added it on to my procedure and I had very minimal pain or bruising from it. Except to be moving slowly the first few days after surgery but to be honest it wasn’t bad at all. I moved every day and the doctor is even releasing me next week for arm exercises. I really can’t say enough about just taking good care of yourself (sleep, eating well, proper vitamins and nutrition) before the surgery and after and you will do great. My husband was so helpful too which allowed me to rest. I was back driving the second week after the surgery. This was something I have been pondering for over 10 years and it honestly is life changing. It just feels like my upper body now matches the rest of my body. If your on the fence, find a really skilled surgeon like Dr. Daniel and you will not regret it. Every day gets easier and I have more mobility and ability to reach. I recommend buying a few very soft bras prior to your surgery so you can switch over to them once released out of the surgical bra. It was recommended on here to get the Hanes soft cup sports bra and it is really nice. I would highly recommend that. Also, I didn’t purchase a body pillow. My husband just set me up in bed with pillows propped up behind me and on the sides. I’m a belly sleeper for life so I was worried about being able to sleep but honestly I’ve been fine. I haven’t yet tried to sleep on my belly as it just doens’t feel comfortable. I think the most amazing part of this surgery is my back and neck just feel so much better. My bras used to really tug on my shoulders, back and neck and now they don’t at all. I don’t know if I will ever go back to an underwire to be honest and it has been fun shopping for pretty bralettes, etc. Updated on 1 Feb 2019: Some have asked for more up close shots of my breast life with auto augmentation so here they are 3 weeks post op. I don’t know why one is upside down as I reloaded 3 times and it kept doing the same thing. Oh well. I feel really good and am happy that I was released for lower body (legs) and upper body (arms) workouts. It has been nice to move and feel more like myself. I would say I am 95% back to my usual activities and feeling like myself. I can sleep on my side now too which is nice because I’m usually a stomach sleeper. I’m healing nicely and started scar therapy this week which is a scar gel that the doctors office gave me by SkinMedica called scar recovery gel. It works well and quickly. I’m not doing scar silicon sheets because I had a very strong reaction to the steri strips. The adhesive gave me a very red, itchy rash that required 5 days of Benadryl (which knocked it out and I’m fine now). That is the only slight complication that came up. I’m very happy with this procedure and the results. I wish I had shot my before photos because I had very saggy deflated breasts from nursing two kiddos. I did not want implants but because I had enough breast tissue (I was a 32 D) I was able to do this procedure of the autoaugmentation which is where they use your own breast tissue to lift the breasts to create upper pole fullness. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions. I would recommend a plastic surgeon who knows this surgery well and has performed them many times which Dr. Daniel has. My only complication is I have been having fun buying new bras! Lol. FYI there is a company called Cosabella which makes beautiful bralettes which I was never able to wear before and they are comfortable and feminine.
I’ve always been a petite person and the body I have been living in since the birth of my second child just isn’t mine anymore. I was unsuccessful in healing my diastasis with PT and targeted exercise and knew that even if I did, the stretched skin and fascia would remain. I wanted my core strength back and I was tired of wearing frumpy clothes and looking pregnant. Surgery terrifies me and despite already consulting with another surgeon in town, I just wasn’t sold on the extreme measures of a full abdominalplasty until I met Dr. Daniel. He immediately put me at ease and answered all my concerns and questions candidly, thoroughly, respectively and on my level in a non-intimidating way (doctors scare me sometimes!). Not all TT methods are the same, so it was interesting to hear his approach. I felt comfortable in his smaller boutique style office, more like a patient he was genuinely excited about working on, than a number potentially lost in the shuffle. He and his office evoke professionalism and the compassionate patient concierge, nurses, and top notch anesthesia were a godsend. I’m a worrier. I knew I wanted the best surgeon around but I’m the type of patient that also really needs a relatable doc with good bedside manner. Bingo. Calmed all my nerves and worked his Michelangelo magic. I’m one week post op, got my drain removed today and am healing well so far. Meeting Dr. Daniel made the decision to proceed with a tummy tuck an easy one. I would highly recommend him if you live in the area and a tummy tuck is something you are considering.
Dr. Daniel is rather impressive. I found him through this site and, as I liked his before/after photos (symmetrical, pleasing-to-the-eye results, little scarring, good proportions), I went to see him. I admit, I also liked the Mayo Clinic featured on his resume. During initial consultation, dr. Daniel suggested procedures/changes that were exactly along the lines of what I was envisioning. Dr. Daniel performed a small breast reduction with breast lift on me. I am very pleased with results. He is talented, meticulous, perfectionist. Dr. Daniel has keen eye on proportions which correlate with beauty... The number of grams removed was just …perfect for my frame. I would not have it otherwise. Scarring is fading quickly and it does not bother me at all. The scar gel I received post-surgery is excellent and I am seeing significant (positive) changes already. Day of surgery – I liked the vibe of the small practice and enjoyed the nurses and the anesthesiologist. They were pleasant and helpful… You will enjoy dr. Daniel on the days you are not under anesthesia as well as he is charismatic, pleasant and personable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience...
