I had ffs in 2024 and had a great experience. Office staff is very friendly. I would recommend anyone that wants options in their ffs search to see Dr. Bradley. My insurance covered and I am starting to see the final results and feel better about myself.
So I would like to add a little more of my experience with Dr James Bradley, since I feel like I didn’t shared much in my previous statement about my FFS surgery. The procedure was definitely a challenge at the beginning, after the swelling went down, I wasn’t able to see so much of the difference and certain areas too longer to go down since not everyone heals the same way. I am very happy at the fact that my incisions are very minor specialty the ones around my nose and forehead since that was my major concern, not so much arena the scalp area but the hair covers thank god lol. Here are some more natural pictures of me, so you guys can really see how this is going, I mean is only been 7 months since I got it done and I have a long way to go so we must be patient. I really recommend this Doctor to everyone. Before my FFS I had a huge forehead and a very wide jawline and this has changed my life in a positive way but challenging at the same time, because I’m getting used to a new image. By the way don’t mind the KELOIDS around my lip area, it has nothing to do with my procedure is something personal and I say that because some people temp to develop those after surgery and I want to be very clear about that.
Dr. Bradley is a Very caring doctor. He was reassuring And attentive. I was nervous meeting him because many doctors have disappointment but not him! He explained how he would proceed with my treatment and guided me through the process. He was highly recommended & I wasn’t disappointed. I will definitely refer my friends & family to him!
My experience was very positive. Even though Dr. Bradley is well-known and experienced, he took the time to listen to me. My surgery went great. I look amazing now. I would definitely recommend him for any facial cosmetic surgery.
The healing process was relatively painless. There were some headaches that required pain medicine and of course bruising around the eyes. Tenderness lasted for 6+ months. I had rhinoplasty surgery 12 years ago when I was a senior in high school and chose a surgeon from the plastic surgery department at the hospital. There wasn't a lot of opportunity to see doctors' work then. I was very insecure about my large, downturned nose, so I was thrilled at the new shape. However, in the years since, it has healed asymmetrically, looks deformed in photographs, and looks a bit operated because of the crookedness. I will be getting revision rhinoplasty shortly. In retrospect, I would have gone to a qualified doctor who focused on noses and vetted them with only that in mind. That is the best advice I can give anyone else on here looking to have this surgery in particular. Many surgeons can do the procedure safely with average results, but it is a very difficult procedure to do well. I believe the surgeon I used is very talented, but the nose job was not great. Also, I think second surgeries are quite common with nose jobs. In my opinion, this is another reason it is so important to pick a surgeon who excels in nose work.
The entire surgery was a disaster. From preop to aftercare. I was left with an incision that was made literally 1 inch below the hairline by my ear. Leaving me with a heavy noticeable scar. This is careless and just plain sloppy. Sloppy surgery, sloppy surgeon. Go elsewhere, I wish I did.
I had surgery done by James Bradley, everything needs to be revised, he is a sloppy surgeon nothing looks good. His incisions are sloppy and his eye for aesthetics is poor. One yr later and forehead is lumpy. He reduced the height of my chin so much it made my lower face more masculine. I never got clocked before surgery now I do. He made my lower face look like a bull frog. His office staff is horrible from Laura Gatt his insurance woman who does not return phone calls and misses deadlines for appeals, to Sabrina Sam his physicians assistant who also does not return phone calls and leaves patients days on end without medication. I would avoid him at all costs there are better options.
Dr. James Bradley was my surgeon! PLEASE!!! Do not go to this Dr. for any surgeries! At least for me my experience is that he left me worse than when I walked into his office. My nostrils are HORRIBLY uneven, my nose is slanted to the right of my face, the graft he put on me, has shriveled into a lump at the top of my nose and it hurts. Simply HORRIBLE Experience. I simply do not know how he's still in the cosmetic field.
I had surgery with Dr. Bradley in 2013 at UCLA for a broken nose after I was assaulted coming out of a party. Dr. Bradley was rude and condescending, the surgery resulted in catastrophic problems that lead to disfigurement which you can read about in my other review on realself. First he perforated my septum, Second he messed up the bones on the bridge of my nose. On either side of the bones that hold my septum and dorsum upright there are two holes (or notches) where they’re supposed to be bone and it made the dorsum and septum loose and kind of free floating. Also, there was a appearance of an “inverted V”. If he had used any other cartilage or a bone graft to fix my breathing problem then from my septum I would not be disfigured today. I receive no follow up care from Dr. Bradley or really anyone at UCLA. I paid this man to do a job and make responsible decisions for my care and all he gave me was catastrophic problems.
